Hi All-
10 days until CPNE...
I am not finding my answer in the study guide so I'll ask-
Does every patient get hydration status checked or just those assigned enteral feeding? I wasn't sure
Any help appreciated.

As in checking turgor/fontanel under age 1/mucous membranes? Yes, I believe they sure do. I have it stuck in my self-made mnemonics to do it with my 20-minute check.

Yup, hydration status is always assigned under fluid management, which is an overriding area of care.
Best of luck to you!! :)

Wow, 10 days? Good luck!
If you get insulin, remember to roll the NPH - cloudy. And not the regular.
