Thats awesome!!! Wooohoo!!!! :balloons:I take mine on April 30th. We need a 950 to pass. What did you use to pass? I bought the HESI study guide, I hope it helps.
I actually bought the HESI book with the CD...but I don't think the questions were really similiar. I do think doing the CD helped me understand hesi format tho. I have to say it was the hardest test I've taken lol. Of course it doesn't help that it covered loads of stuff we never talked about or studied. I think barely half of class of 28 passed this time.....
Only advise I can give is to do questions. Then do more questions..and don't Stop doing questions. Good luck!!
:balloons: Congratulations!!!
I am about to take a Hesi test prior to beginning the LPN-BSN program.
I guess they want to see where we are at this point and perhaps may do a comparative test at the end??? They are calling it a 'critical thinking test'.
I am nervous because I graduated in 05 w/my LVN, had a baby, took a yr off and have been only working very part time for the last 6 mos....
Anyhoo~Cheers for You!!:balloons:
Hello Nurses as well as future Nurses,
Well here is my story and I hope that this information may enlighten as well as encourage its readers. I attended Lutheran School of Nursing in st louis missouri the only dipolma school left in this entire state. I went through pure hell to complete the entire program. At Lutheran they require that you make an 850 on the Hesi.. Well I took the hesi for the final time and I got a 839... I was dismiss from the entire program..I was completely devasted.. $18,000 of debt, 2 1/2 years of major sacrifices as well as mental and physcial torment I am convinced that not only am I suppose to be a nurse I am going to be a wonderful nurse. Lutheran School of Nursing did not make me who I am today but it certainly made me a better person and a stronger person in the Lord Jesus Christ... Because I know for a fact that if it had not been for my heavnly father I would not have the strength or courage to boot up and continue on with my education... I am currently attending the community college where next year I will graduate and become the Nurse that God almighty has called me to be. I hope this message would encourage all those who read it... Never ever let anyone or any situation keep you from making your dreams come true... Thanks for all the listening ears .. And may God Bless you all to be the best nurses ever..... Jean Buck
