Help for a co-worker

All - I've made some positive comments when others have reported an injured kid, a family member with cancer, etc. I'd like to ask for you guys to do a little thing in return for me - well, not for me, exactly. I hate to use the phrase 'thoughts & prayers' at this anxious time for obvious reasons, and I'm not what I'd call 'conventionally religious' myself, but nevertheless... thoughts and prayers, depending on your religious bent, is probably what's called for.

I'm about to change jobs, but one of my favorite, most-respected, and best-sense-of-humor fellow nurses at my current job has been through more than one scary health situation lately, and is now having an exploratory procedure, maybe tomorrow. Just take a second for her if you feel so inclined. Thanks.

Yeah, thanks for asking. I wouldn't want to get too specific anyway, but it's pretty likely now that it isn't cancer, but she's got another biopsy coming and there are still a few possibilities as to how things are going to turn out.

No specifics needed, totally understandable, just wondered if more prayers were needed. :)

My thoughts and prayers are with your friend. Your requests say, "I can't control the outcome, but this person matters to me, and I wan't everything to be O.K."

I prayed for healing & comfort just now, and will continue. God wants us to ask. May God bless her.
