HCC Spring 2017 Nursing Program

I personally don't know nobody applying for spring . that's why I jumped on this forum so I can actually talk to people . I have a lot of friends trying to get to this point but some can't pass the teas and yeah they're chaning the teas to a different version . and we're gonna know before October 1st said someone that posted in here that emailed health sciences

I heard about the Teas VI it will

be less earth science and more health science and you get to use a calculator on that one. I know the teas was very hard for me I took it all 3 attempts and finally got a 66 which was better than not being able to apply at all. I think it harder for me because of trying to juggle finals and study plus spend time with my husband and kids. I don't think anyone that's young applying wouldn't be on here because everyone I know loves keep up with all nurses for the lastest progress! Dawn- Me too I think we all waited so long for this and now it's finally happening!!!

From my anatomy class in the spring.. I had like 5 people i knew that were supposed to be applying. I definitely know one who applied and isn't on here.. and she has a 3.7. Most of the others were hoping for USF.

The advisor told me its possible that they will accept TEAS V until next year for those that have already taken it. I know many struggled with science section... so some may be holding out for that version. Personally, Im glad to be done with it, lol. I studied for a week straight before... my brain was FRIED!

Have your TEAS scores been updated in webadvisor yet?

Blanchard-nothing has appeared on my documents at all as of now... but then again I did turn my application in on Monday... when did you submit your application?

I turned mine in back in June. I think the TEAS is supposed to be updated in the "test summary" part of web adviser, can you check there? Everything else has been updated and i am just wondering if this is normal or if i should be worried.

I turned in my application in July and i can see my teas scores . you might want to investigate that

I took my TEAS June 21st and it shows up on the test summary section of hawknet. But i don't have any documents showing in the 'my documents' section. I turned my application in on monday so that's probably why that section is blank.

Blanchard, did you take the teas at am hcc testing center?

They may have it but not uploaded yet. I had to call records this morning to make sure all my transcripts were in even though they weren't showing.

I wonder when they will process all applications and how long does that process usually take. They called me saying they got my old Keiser teas scores but I made sure I provided every score I've ever taken with the teas. The lady was nice and said if she seen anything she would call me which is nice since I know a lot of people have been denied over simple kinks.

Did y'all get that little yellow sheet when you dropped off the application?
