give me a break

Why is it every time I sign on to this site I read how people are being treated wrong at work???? Are you young? Is it the first job you have had? Do you not know how to work with a team of different people? For all you people whining about not fitting in...figure it out its not thier problem it yours

Where's the popcorn eating emoticon when you need it?

News flash people come here to get support. When your day goes like crap and you have to hold in every negative emotion that you have you have to let it out somewhere. By the way, if you do not like all of the whinning that goes on at this board why do you read the postings. Is someone forcing you to sit at your computer and read all of the postings? Skip the ones that do not interest you. Pretty simple in my book.

Here's my $0.02 on this important issue. . . :twocents:

Horizontal violence is an endemic problem in workplaces that employ nurses, including hospitals, nursing homes, psychiatric facilities, and so forth. Many studies have proven that our work environments are sometimes hostile.

Although I dislike those individuals who always thrive on assuming the role of the victim, I also despise when people blame the entire problem on the "victim."

We cannot apply simple solutions to complex problems. Worker maltreatment and horizontal violence are complex problems, and blaming the victim is a simple solution that will advance nothing. It is not always the fault of the mistreated worker.

although spring is in the air, i keep on smelling troll...

Well, DanEMT:

Seems pretty simple to me. If you're frustrated/irritated/puzzled by the posts you're seeing here, why do you bother to look?

Simply stay away from the nursing forum and we won't bother you anymore!:twocents:

okidokie, my 2 cents (did you know there isn't a cents sign on my keyboard?) first post i click on tonight, and i'm flabbergasted.

there's only one person at college i've had a problem with, i get along with everyone else.

my day pretty much was good until the phone call that my mother's husband has als (lou gehrig's), and the doctor told mom he has maybe three years at his stage and age. so i'll whine if i want to, dadblameit.

Dude! Who peed in your Cheerios?

I noticed how DanEMT came on here and made a statement, then left the board open for us to respond. He hasnt made another comment, probably sitting and eating his popcorn reading our responses. I think he only wanted to get a response out of us, so why bother. Why entertain it. Now Im off to enjoy the rest of AN, I love this site and I love the support we give each other on here.
