We've had so much rain and the mosquitos are big enough to exsanguinate a small dog with one suck so our field day was moved into the gym...the best thing, it's over. May the force be with you.

Wonder if the snowflakes had endurance issues. We do ours rain or shine as it always involves water and getting wet/ muddy. It is expected.

Outdoor recess and outdoor PE mean that I'm already making twice the ice packs and using 3x as many band aids. I am not looking forward to field day, not one bit! Our field day is way over the top. We're talking bouncy houses, giant inflatable slides, face painting, snow cones-it's ridiculous! But the kids love it

Now admin is dealing with mad parents and PTA peeps....fun times.

Field day survivor here! We had ours Tuesday. Bouncy houses and water slide, only one injury one water slide, a few abrasions at the bouncy houses. We had some very diligent PTO parents watching those kids, esp on the water slide (broken arm and ankle last year).

Yes we had bounce houses on Monday, only 4 injuries nothing major. Tuesday was the 3rd & 4th grade field trip to the water park (the entire district). Now field day. :dead:

I should have asked my doctor for some Xanax this week (hehehehhehe) :roflmao:
