FCCJ Fall '09???

I applied to the June 1st deadline. I hear they usually get those rejection letters out pretty quick. I haven't gotten one of those so maybe thats a good sign.

They send out the acceptance and rejection letters at the same time. I applied to Summer and didn't get in, and I got my letter a few days after people had gotten their acceptance letter. It took them the full 8 weeks for Summer. I looked on other terms forum's and they seemed to get the letters out around 4-6 weeks. But that definitely was not the case last term!

For the spring 09 term, everyone's letters (both rejection and acceptance) went out at the same time according to last name. It was in 2 different mailings maybe 3. I know people who got their acceptance letters really fast and others got theirs 4 days later. The same thing with rejection letters.

Has anyone received an acceptance or denial letter yet?

Not yet. I'm really not expecting anything until the 3rd week of July (that's what I was told when I dropped off the packet). I hate this waiting though!

I searched the posts from last year, letters were received on July 9th. Someone with a score of 186 received an acceptance letter.

I'm hoping my 223.12 points is enough but I'm not taking anything for granted.

Searched the spring 2009 posts and found that the cutoff for the spring was 183.2

lol. the person who said they got 223 points... you've definately got nothing to worry about. If the cutoff for summer was close to 190 it would probably be around 200 AT THE MOST because they accept alot more people which means lower cutoff like 195. I heard that alot of people from UNF that didnt get in are applying for FCCJ nursing so that is why the cutoff might go up a bit more.... thats what i was told by my adviser who was very helpful

wish we could find out soon... i heard for fall orientation the last 2 years was the first week of august... im worried though because i will be out of the COUNTRY( south america) until august 5!!! need that letter soon because if i get in i want time to get everything done. we have to get drug screenings, shots, background checks and like 20 more things done before orientation!!
