I'll throw in, too..

A&P 2 (4)

A&P 2 Lab

Organic Chemistry (4)

Organic Lab

Composition 2 (3)

Developmental Psychology (3)

and some other class to round out the 16-17 credits I figure I can handle.

After this semester, I'll have only speech, micro, and statistics to finish before my prereqs for UAMS will be complete!

I am a sahm to four kids.. two of which will be in school all day. :)

Here is what I am taking.

Monday 8:30-11:15 College Writing

Monday night 6:30-9:15 A&P 1 Lecture

Wednesday night 8-9:45 A&P 1 Lab

Online: Business Math (needed one more math)

I will also be picking up a few hours here and there as a HHA

Technically not a pre-nursing student as I am in second semester of an LPN program currently, but I am still working on my pre/co reqs for the RN program so here's my Fall.

Monday - Volunteer 4-6 hours

Tuesday- Nursing Science and Theory II 12:30- 16:30

This includes Med/Surg I, Pediatrics, & OB

Wed- Microbiology(online for 8 weeks until Oct); then

Chemistry(online for 8 weeks starting in Oct ending end of November)

IV Certification 1800-2100

Thursday- Nursing Science and Theory II 12:30- 16:30

(until clinical starts in September) then perhaps clinical but not sure.

Friday - Lab 8-4 ( Until clinical starts in Sept.)

Clinical 13:30 to 23:30

Saturday- STUDY

Sunday- STUDY

I don't work right now but I do have a husband and two children that require attention in there somewhere.

College Algebra - M evening ever other week 6-9:40 pm

A&P I with Lab - Saturday every other - lecture 8-11:50 / Lab 2:30-4:30

I was hoping to start the nursing portion in 2010 but will most likely have to put it off until 2011. I dropped A&P I in the Summer because the professor was horrible, so that put me a little behind. I still have A&P 2, Microbiology, Satistics, Chemistry and one elective left. Not sure what to do yet. Still on the list for 2010, might go for it but I am afraid too many science courses at once will be overwhelming and I might fail.

I also work full time and have to daughters.

Mon:

A&P I 8-8:55

Adapt to the PN Role 9-11:55

Wed:

A&P I 8-8:55

A&P I Lab 9-10:55

Fri:

A&P I 8-8:55

Online:

College English

Introductory Algebra (I'm registered for this, but not sure if I should attempt it right now or wait until spring. It's the last gen ed I need, I just applied to the nursing program for spring '10 and don't know if it will look bad if I don't get it done this fall)

I'm also trying to get a part time CNA job for Tues & Thurs, as well as every other weekend. My dh works on the road, so it's just me and our 3 kids all week! The hardest part will be getting ALL four of us up, dressed, breakfast, and off to work/school/daycare. I've worked at home for the past 6 years, and we had a lot of pj days! :)

I'm "graduating" from this forum...as of 8/24 I won't be a pre-nursing student!! :) Anyway...I'll be taking nursing 1, pharm 1 and clinicals.....yay! Good luck everyone!

Intro to Chemistry Mondays and Wednesdays

Intermediate Algebra Tuesdays and Thursdays

Weight Training Monday-Thursday

Developmental Psychology Online

Wow everyone.... this fall is going to be busy! I am looking for another part-time job ontop of what I said when I started the thread. I can't rely on others, and need to save up money so come either Spring 2010 or Fall 2010 I can fully support myself with no help from parents, boyfriend, or anyone!

ha, ha... The same here. I woun't be a pre-nursing student from Aug. 17.... So, my schedule is:

Mon. 8.00-03.05 - Nur. 110

Tue. 8.00-03.05 - Nur. 110

Thu 12.00-02.00 - Intermediate Algebra

Fri 07.00-14.00 - Clinicals

Let's see... Tuesday & Thursdays: Human Growth & Development 7:30am-8:45; A&P1 9:00-10:15; Intermediate Algebra 12:00-1:15. On Tuesdays I have A&P lab from 3:00-4:50. And I'm taking Sociology online. I'm a DONA Certified Birth Doula and have 3 clients this semester. Also a Certified Lacation Counselor and Childbirth Educator and may start teaching private classes in both. Especially breastfeeding. :flamesonb

I have a screwy schedule this Fall, but it was the only classes I could get into during registration and I want it all over with ASAP, so I took it. :)

M-F Chem 121 : 8-850AM

W Chem 121 Lab: 1-250PM

M&W AP 1: 6-730PM, 740-930PM

Online Eng 101

I am nervous for Chem and AP together...but I took an intro AP class over the summer and I got a 4.0! I hope that it helped taking that class first. I think it will be good, because I have mastered the basics and now I have ALOT more memorizing to do and less things to remember. :) I am afraid of CHEM...I hate Chem... :( Good luck to everyone!! BTW, I am taking my classes at Green River CC in WA, anyone else?

AND I WORK evenings...I am thinking of starting out just working Tues, Thurs, Friday and Saturday nights...but we will see. My shifts are generally 6 hours....and I don't get home usually til 11 or midnight, which could be hard Wed-Fri morning...having to get up at 7AM...we will see...LOTS of coffee :)

I thought you were in WA; your classes sound similar in time-range to my college. xD I'm at Clark CC, and quite like it here. I don't work yet, but am looking at picking up a part-time or PRN CNA job if I can come December. I'm hoping to start the RN program in 2011. =O I'm not taking chem yet, though. D: I'm sorry. Best of luck! :yeah::yeah:
