Medical Terminology from Greek to Latin

I work at an LTC Saturday and Sunday 6 am- 10 pm. On saturday nights when I leave, I go to a home health job from 11 pm- 5:30 am, then back for another 16 hour at LTC. I have 2 kids. I work such a crazy schedule so I don't have to work at all during the week. It gives me time to focus on school and my kids.

Wow mimib you do work a crazy schedule! That does seem hard to handle! If you ever need help in your online class send me a message. Latin is my strongest subject and if my nursing plans ever fail Latin is my back up. Also I like how your classes are all on Mondays and Wednsedays. Thats what I tried to do but registered to late.

I'm so excited about school in Fall, too.

TaraRae123, your schedule is pretty packed! I'm easing my way back into school after a hiatus - changed majors.

I'm preparing to transfer to a university for the BSN program in or around Fall 2010, so I'm finishing up the transfer requirements - 2 classes total & the pre-clinical classes - 4 total.

I work part time on a home based business and have 3 kids so my obligations outside of school aren't too bad.

My schedule is:

Nutrition Thursday 6-9:05

Introduction to Organic and Biological Chemistry Fri 8:30-12:05 & Sat 8-11:50 I'm #4 on the wait list and pretty confident I'll get in

English (1A) Fri 5:15-8:20pm

I ordered my books from Amazon today and saved about $95 compared with the bookstore prices.

Mimib: I like your work schedule a lot. I'd do something like that if I had the opportunity, since I have kids, too.:)

Yea, it isn't as bad as people think it is. I mean, you're going non stop for 48 hours but then you have the whole week to (kind of!) relax.

I am very excited about this semester. Its my first year in college! I am taking my pre-reqs over two years and applying to a upper division BSN for fall of 2011. The reason for two years is Im getting my AA degree because I recieved full scholarship. Amazon is a life-saver sometimes. Not that I need it this semester because my scholarship covers books. Over the summer I took general psychology and was given the book by a friend and she told me to keep it. I have been lucky so far and haven't had to pay for any books.

I am taking 14 hours:

Anatomy + Lab, M&W: 10am class, lab 12pm - 1:50

Online Nutrition course

Contemporary Moral Problems, M: 7:30 to 10:15pm

Chemistry, T: 5:45 to 7:15pm class, Th: 5:45 to 10:30pm class followed by lab (AAAAAH, this is going to suck)

I am a full-time SAHM to three kids. Two are in school (pre-K and 2nd grade), and I have a one year old. I have worked my schedule such that I only have to put the baby in mother's day out on Wednesdays! This is awesome for my pocketbook :)

Good luck everyone!

I am taking Physio

This is my last gen ed semester. I officially start nursing school this Spring. I'm SO excited. I have a lot to do this fall to get ready! Had orientation last week and there is so much to get done by November 1st.

Only Physio- its my last pre-req

I am taking Physio

I though I was the only one in the world taking physiology seperately. Every school in my area offers the class reperately. I get confused when I see people taking at together.

I am not a morning person either. These 8am classes are going to be a killer. To wake up and go to work in the morning isn't as hard because I know I am going ot get paid. To wke up and go to school on the other hand.... requires a large amount of motivation. In some of my classes this semester the proffesor offers extra credit for perfect attendance. I guess that will have to be my motivation this semester.
