I've been using my crocs brand name shoes for a few moths at work- but feel that my feet are hurting me! I do not understand why!? I've been told that these are the best shoes- but now I feel like my feet are throbing when I come from work!

what is the best shoe out there that can help me with throbbing feet after a long 12 hour night shift??

I don't care the price- as long as it's not over $100 for a pair.

thanks!

I would buy a pair of the best walking shoes that you can find. New Balance, Reeboks, Nike, whatever fits your feet the best. You need a new pair every 6 months or so because they breakdown. Good arch supports are what you need!

I have a pair of NB as well as a pair of Nike Shox. You might want to investigate with a podiatrist whether you need orthotics as well. :)

I just bought "Klogs". They feel awesome already, so good I can't describe. It has the Gel Sole already in them so they still fit right. They were a good price also, I paid $50.00. They are very popular here in Florida. Everyone I know from Nurses to Chefs, recommended these to me.

So if the New Balance wears out, might want to try them on.

For me, the New Balance and orthotic combination has been a heavenly cocktail for my feet. In fact, my feet hurt more when I take them off than when I am wearing both. Cheers for the podiatrist who suggested this combination!:bow::bowingpur

They do look wonderful...:D:bow:

I have a lot of problems with my feet, and was worried about what I would do when clinicals started. An acquaintance told me she wore SAS shoes, and had done so for years with no problems, and she is on her feet all day. I bought a pair about 10 months ago and have worn them at every clinical day, with great results. The rest of me may be tired, but my feet don't hurt a bit. The shoes are holding up really well too. Cost me $125, but worth not having to be in pain.

I wear New Balance too - crocs don't work at all for me.

A trip to a podiatrist is a good idea.

Are you using the croc's Specialist or Specialist vent? These are the ones with a higher arch and more support. When I put on a pair of the regular crocs, my feet ache and throb; but, not so when I wear the Specialist style. The only complaint would be the sweaty feet when it is hot, accompanied by the noisy squeak or pseudo fart noise when I walk.
