You'll do great. Racine is awesome for taking CPNE. Staff are wonderful and try to help as much as possible. The CA is amazingly supportive and sweet. All the CE's were terrific. My biggest problem was my own nervousness. You hear so much negativity when it comes to the CPNE which makes you more stressed. Stress is usually peoples biggest set back. Surround yourself with positive thoughts and people who are supportive. The less anxiety and stress the clearer your thoughts will be for your CPNE. Remember, they just want the basics.:yeah:Only as first day new grad.:)

this is probably a stupid question.....

but i am thinking about going to excelsior for my lpn to rn and i was wondering when you apply to take your cpne?? is it after your nc7?? or is is when you enroll into the nursing program??

somebody help, i'm confused.....

The only "stupid question" is the one not asked! ;)

You apply for the CPNE when you're eligible -- under the new curriculum, that would be when you've completed the nursing exams, when you've completed 2 of the 3 parts of the Focused Clinical Competencies exam (the FCCA, which is still in development, actually), and when you're within 10 credits of finishing other requirements.
