CCAC Fall 2011

Hey!

Is anyone applying for the RN program that starts Fall 2011?

I'm going to apply for South. Last I checked, they didn't have the application packets yet. I hope they get them soon! Do other campuses have them?

It would be great to get some discussion started. Thanks everyone!

I just applied too. Good luck everyone!! Let us know when you get your letter :)

Hello! Did anyone get a letter from CCAC stating they received your Nursing Packet and completed documents? I mailed mine so maybe that's why I got a receipt letter today? Waiting for acceptance the next three months will be tough. Wishing everyone the best to come!

Yep! :)

Hi I applied for South day and south evening for second choice!!.. i received my reciept of application in the mail too.. what do the numbers mean above 11FA?

Hi! Glad we all received the receipt, one less worry. :yeah:

I think it means year 2011 Fall Semester; since that is what we are applying for. I applied for South day (1st) and South evening (2nd) too. I have yet to take AP2 and see that both summer semesters are closed. Does anyone know what part of the nursing program AP2 has to be completed?

I am in 102 right now and there are students in my class who are just taking A & P 2.

Good luck to you!

Thank you! That is good to know. Well, that is IF I am accepted into the program for the fall anyway. Waiting is the hardest part. Also, would you recommend taking a pharmaceutical math prior to starting the program?

I didn't receive a receipt in the mail. Do you think it is because I hand-delivered my application? They gave me a paper when I left, so I guess that may be the receipt.

Hi, I can't say for sure, because I mailed mine - if that helps. Anyone hear when we will hear something? I heard June but that is so far away it does not make sense to agonize that long!

Thanks :)

The packet said 2-2.5 months. So that would be anywhere from March 1st until mid March. However, when I dropped off my application I asked when they we will find out and they said 1.5 months, which would be mid April, but I wouldn't count on that. From reading these forums, it seems like they are always late! A month in a half would be great though!

In regards to the pharmaceutical math class I am not sure. I attend South campus and saw no need for it. The math is self study but there are non-mandated review sessions and excellent tutors available. If you utilize these you should be fine on the math tests.
