the packet said 2-2.5 months. so that would be anywhere from march 1st until mid march. however, when i dropped off my application i asked when they we will find out and they said 1.5 months, which would be mid april, but i wouldn't count on that. from reading these forums, it seems like they are always late! a month in a half would be great though!

i checked with my freind from work and she recieved it on 5/1/10 which was a saturday. this would put it in the 2-2.5 month range. hope this helps. have a great day.

I received my acceptance letter for Fall 2010 in early May. The wait is horrible but getting that yes is worth the wait!

Cool. I applied to evening program as well at allegheny and south. May I ask you a couple of questions about the evening program. Do you have clinicals in the evenings as well or on saturday? Was your nursing class scheduling part of a block with different class days and clinicals and how did you choose them? Thanks for your help?

At South for 101 and 102 I had clinicals on Saturdays from 630 to 230. I did have one week where I had clinical from 3 to 11 this semester. There were spaces open on Monday and Friday 630-230 if some one would have wanted a spot there. Those are offered first to day students. In second year I believe there are some evening clinical rotations as well as Saturday or Sunday 630-230. For evening there is one lecture time and 2 lab choices. That is it. In 101 it was Tuesday and Thursday from 400 to 800 or from 6 to 1000. (Lecture ran from 500 to 8, lab was before or after) In 102 it is currently Tuesday and Thursday 5 to 730 and every other week you have lab from 730 to 930 on either Tuesday or Thursday (your choice). Everyone chooses as a group and it is on first come, first serve basis. It usually works out well and everyone gets what they want or need. Scheduling is probably run different on Allegheny campus. It really seems like there is a big difference from campus to campus. We have a couple of transfer students in 102 that did not pass the course and are trying again at South.

In lab we cover different skills like vitals, IVs, assessment, catheters, ... you get the point. Lecture is just that.. lecture.

hello everyone, I just got my acceptance letter today for Fall 2011 (allegheny evenings) I wasn't expecting it so soon, many people mention that they didn't got theirs untill May last year. I'm so happy:yeah: I wish you all Good Luck and expect your letters soon.

I received my acceptance letter today which I thought was really early, I was expecting it in May. Maybe there weren't a lot of applicants this semester???? South day for me...

yay Congratulations! :hug: I know what you mean, I was not expecting a letter today. I am going to South Day Program. However, it says "tentative acceptance letter" pending on physical, background check and drug screening. I already told my friends I am accepted, hope it was not premature!
