CCAC Fall 2011

I just got home, read this thread, and ran to check the mail! I was surprised to see that you all were getting them so soon.

Well... I got accepted too!! I was jumping up and down LOL I am so excited :)

I will be going to South day.

This is pending background checks (I already have them for my job), drug screening, and physical. But I'm sure I will be fine.

I got my letter today too! I got my first choice of Allegheny Day. I was told by advisors all along not to be discouraged if I didnt get in. My grades are good and I scored extremely high on the PAX but I was still wary. I already have a BS degree. I am a "returning" student.

Now I am just trying to figure out what my schedule might be like in the fall. I am in A and P I right now so I think I will take A and P II in the fall with NRN 101, 101C and 101L. Just not sure what the schedule might be for 101C - anyone have any idea? Then Micro with NRN 102 etc. I have all my other classes done except Growth and Dev - but I hope to maybe clep out of that this summer.

Good luck everyone. Anyone else in Allegheny day? Would love to make some friends ahead of time!

At first I thought maybe you all were playing an epic April Fools day joke. I had to wait until May for my acceptence letter last year!

The reason it was faster is they made a new position between the Nursing and Admission offices - Nursing Admissions Co-ordinator. She was the reason everything went so smoothly and quickly! Amber is so helpful and kind.

well that's great because I wasn't expecting a lleter anytime soon so I didn't have to go through the nerves and anxiety of waiting:). Congratulations to everyone who made it in. I was wondering why it was so fast. Amber was the one who told be it would be about a month in a half, and it was even less than that! She really is such a helpful person.

I am a "returning" student too. I just graduated with a BA in social sciences. I got that because I was interested i nit and had NO CLUE what I wanted to do for a career. But now I am finally settled on nursing :)

I received my acceptance letter today which I thought was really early, I was expecting it in May. Maybe there weren't a lot of applicants this semester???? South day for me...

I will be in South Day too!
