Nursing Students School Programs

I have been trying to conduct research on this topic and have found it to be very difficult, especially with a budget of under $25k. What RN-BSN online program did you attend? Was the program organized? Also was the all in total under $25k? Only info for online programs please. Thank you!

I'm doing Grand Canyon University since I don't need statistics mine is a total of $17k with stats it's about $18k all inclusive. Very doable and the support of the counselors, teachers and my cohorts is fabulous. Totally love it

Oh almost forgot it takes about 12-13 months and done

Specializes in OB-Gyn/Primary Care/Ambulatory Leadership.

UTA, western Governors and Fort Hays are all well under $15000. If you complete in two terms, it's around $7000

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

Fort Hays State Univ online BSN program: $186/credit

UT Arlington online BSN program: $257/credit

U of Louisiana @ Lafayette online BSN program: $293/credit

Grantham University online BSN program: $265/credit

BTW, I paid $5,800 total for my online BSN completion program at Western Governors. The drawback is the pass/fail grading which results in a 3.0 GPA, but I was willing to deal with that in order to save thousands.

thank you. I looked online and it seems like there are quite a few nursing classes to take and flat fee pricing per 6 months. if u really stack up on classes u can finish sooner n cheaper. Unfortunatly with work i know it would take me longer.

I work full-time nights (average of 42 hours weekly) and was able to finish in nine months. The assignments really aren't that time-consuming or challenging IMHO. Your mileage may vary.
Specializes in Outpatient/Clinic, ClinDoc.

I worked full time days (9-5, M-F) and did in under four months. YMMV, but you aren't going to find a cheaper school if that's your main concern. My degree was $3400 or so. Obviously not everyone gets done in one term, but quite a few do it in two.

I completed it in 3 terms, doing it at the slowest pace the school allows, and it still cost me less than $11,000.

Specializes in LTC, med/surg, hospice.

Another , not finished yet but this is my final (3rd) term and it will be less than 9k. I received pell grant which offset the costs.

For everyone that completed , where did you do your required community health clinical hours at? I know we are all from different areas but did you have the option to do it at your place of employment? Or did you have to find a mentor else where?

Also, how were you able to complete the hours and still be able to work?
