Bad things happen in 3's?

Do you believe that "bad" things happen in groups of 3's? Deaths, falls, codes, etc?

I sure as heck do! Had 2 deaths over the weekend. Wonder if the next one will happen before I go back to work...

Bad things always happen to me when I start feeling bored or comfortable. Ugh, never say bored, slow, or quiet.

With the human mortality rate remaining steady at 100%, if you wait long enough, somebody is going to die.

I only believe in that celebrities die in 3's.

When I'm charging, the nurse who says anything about the floor being "quiet" gets the next admit! :-)

No. Bad things happen.People wait for 3 things to happen and then say " see, I told you so".

Yes, I know people die. I know it's inevitable that bad things happen.

This was just meant to be kinda an informal poll/survey thing to see what people thought. But, thanks anyways.

I believe things come in threes! In the past two weeks we have had three devastating multiple injury an death car accidents in our area. It used to be rare to see things like this around my rural area. Freaks me out a little!

I have seen it in my personal life and many times in the hospital.

I have wrapped 3 bodies in the matter of 2- 12 hours shifts.

Back to back shifts that is.

no but in the OB department I worked on for the summer, whenever we worked nights with the one doc births came in 5's!

I do. They seem to always happen in three's and I know if you wait long enough you can say "see see they do happen" The graduating PN class before mine had three births! My class had three students have someone close pass suddenly and at a young age. This year in nursing school three family members in one month have had cancer screens for "suspicious" findings.

To each their own but I do think things happen in 3's. Trust me I would have much rather graduated with the happy new baby class than the one that struggled to support their friends with unexpected loved ones passing.
