Are any of you using the Rue Edu. study material. I started with them like 3 weeks ago. I was just wondering If any of you were going thru them too?

Hi There!

I bough the RUE books for Micro off EBay and I was very happy with the way the "study system" worked. I scored a B in Micro. I also got a couple of RUE books for the Concept exams and A&P. Hoping they are just as good.

Hope this helps! :nurse:

Hi, I just started like 3 weeks ago. I am now studying lifespan developmental psych. I am getting close to being done. I am a little nervous about my first test. I was terrified to take my first test. Just remember to take a deep breath and read the questions carefully. Usually there are 2 answers you can rule out, and 2 others that are viable answers...when in doubt your first instinct is the right one.

My positive thoughts are flowing your way:wshgrt:

Hi- I too am using Rue. I failed my first test, it was sociology, but the way I look at it is- In 4 months I took a class that I knew nothing about and taught myself enough to make a 48. A 50 is passing, I will study harder and re-test. I am currently studying Psych. Good luck to us all, I'm sure we can do it.

This is so true. I am proud of you for continuing to have courage. some people would have just given up. Nothing comes easy and we have to work hard for what we want. You may want to try http://www.instantcertonline.com for that exam if you haven't already! Good luck on your next try!

I was so glad to find this site! I have just started rue and am studying Developmental Psych right now too. I am so scared to take the first test as I, like you, have no idea what to expect! If anyone has any ideas about what to focus on or how to go about preparing for these test I would love any support I can get. I am hoping the first one will be the hardest due to the "unknown". lol :uhoh3: Thanks to all and hope to hear from you soon. Have a good weekend.

Hey guys, Ive been with RUE for almost 2 years but only actively studying for about 9 months (had to put school on hold). Although I was irritated once I found out that I didnt have to sign a contract with RUE to go through EC, I am VERY happy with their materials. Ive taken Lifespan Dev. Pysch, World Religion, Health Safety, and Chronicity so far. I take Repro next Saturday and then Im on to Info Lit (through Penn Foster) and Transitions (NC7).

Have you guys signed onto the Mentor Connection? If not, you should. There are ALOT of other students on there. There are EC graduates to help us along the way and they have lots of helpful resources for each course.

If you need to join, go to http://www.rueeducation.com/Home.aspx then click on the link that says "Click here to join". It is a wonderful resources and we'd love to have more motivated people and help you along the way.

Good luck!

Felicia
