It's sad so many don't understand the First Amendment.

It has zero to do with free speech.

I just had a look (09:00am UK time) on YouTube and there is definitely a Channel 4 channel exactly as NRSKaren wrote (thank you), and also (more encouragingly) a Channel 4 documentary channel. Although I don't know if it will come under Documentary or Entertainment. It might even come under the Reality, Drama or even (quick laugh to self) Sport.

So wherever you find it hopefully this will be entertaining and thought provoking.

Have a good day.

What happened with that documentary you and others were so giddy about?  Did it fall short of your expectations?  LOL

Actually I was about halfway through it when your post popped up. I'm at number 40 so far I think the total is 100 and no it does not disappoint. It shows Trump to be a liar, a braggart and just downright stupid. But hey... that's only what the fact checkers can come up with. And remember, in the UK broadcasters are not allowed to lie. Unlike some of your stations in America.

So try to find it and watch it if you can. Or hide your head in the sand and ignore the truths that are right in front of you.

Oh, and the reason I am watching it tonight is that as I said I was out last night and I have been out today so I am watching it on catch up.

I'm already aware that many think Trump is a liar, braggart, and stupid person.

It must be a comfort to you to know that a broadcaster, that's "not allowed to lie", agrees with you.

Enjoy your evening.  It sounds delightful.

And your point is?

Well yes, although I would reverse it and say that I agree with the person who is telling me the truth.

Well I'm glad you got the reference but you do realise that 1984 was meant to be a warning, not a blueprint?

You enjoy someone confirming your bias.

Of course I do, we just disagree on how that warning applies to the present.

The show looks like an echo chamber of Dems "fact checking" some of Trumps statement's , so yeah they are just confirming their bias.

An echo chamber of facts and truth about Trump's lies and dishonesty? If one's bias is confirmed by facts and evidence... then the bias is factually correct reality.  Isn't it?

I'm curious how you think that "fact checking" is bias. If it is a fact then it stands alone as a fact, no bias. You may not like it but that is irrelevant. A fact is a fact is a fact.

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

Look at what has happened to people already in the USA, snatched off the streets with no due process.

Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Lisa Cook and others fired or cancelled. Does that not screech overreach and authoritarianism?
