Would this be appropriate for an interview?

My interview is in a couple of days. I'm broke. I went to Goodwill, Salvation Army, JC Penny, TJ Maxx, Walmart, Kmart, Kohls, and a few other stores in my area to find a good fitting suit. The suits I've tried on do not fit; they're either too short or too long; too tight or too loose; or just simply way too expensive. AND to top it off, I'm extremely bloated from getting ready to have my period [no doubt I'll start the day of my interview].

So, I went to Target and bought some black pants that can be dressed up or dressed down. The length is perfect and I feel absolutely comfortable in them. I also purchased a white sleeveless top that I plan on wearing under my long, belted black, light-weight, sweater. My shoes are black, casual, and flat--nothing fancy, but in good condition, comfortable, and appropriate. Would this be okay to wear to an interview?

    That outfit sounds excellent to me. I think the suit is becoming very outdated for interviews.

    I think it sounds ok to wear. I will say when I was interviewing and stressing about what to wear and how I didn't want to spend a ton on clothes a lot of my friends and co-workers offered up for me to try their suits or suit jackets. So in the future if you have any friends or family who are your size ask if they have anything you can try on!

    you will look great for your interview. you are wearing pants,i know but please wear some type of hosiery . this always makes an impression on me. i see women dressed expensively and have on expensive shoes but have put bear feet into their shoes. good luck you will be fine.

    bear feet would probably make me think twice, as well. especially if they were really hairy.
