Will a Shaved head keep you from getting hired?

Well guys, I got to thinking about something.. I havent recieved the results yet from my test... what i was wandering do u all think it will hurt my chances of getting hired as an LPN with a shaved head....

I mean I dont look like a skin head or anything.... But I keep my head shaved...

What do you all think?

Well you gotta hat on so...who knows. But it doesn't look bad from here. Lots of people shave their head.

I forgot to add in there about the piercings... Both ears are pierced... Rings arent in the pictures... i was talking to another member on here.. I think that I am going to just leave them out completely... That way I present myself a little better

*shrug* yeah maybe...at least for the interview. Then get a feel for the environment. What are the other people wearing? (gosh that sounds like middle school or something) Facial piercings I would leave out no matter what (well it depends I guess) ears are a little more "normal".

i appreciate the input from you all... right now its just two ear rings one in each ear... But i guess that im going to leave them out until I find a job... then im gonna see how things go.. if its acceptable there.. and if so i will go for the piercings once again...

Heck I think you look real nice. Wish I could have done that in Mental health I actually wore a wig so when we would get in a take down,. The worst the Pt could do is pull my wig off. (Women Pt's always pull hair ) It was really kinda funny. (But I got so tried of years having my hair pulled.) That's why I went with a wig . It would shock the PT , for a second Thinking they had a head of hair in there hands ,we could complete the take down without a hitch.

I just shaved my boyfriends head last weekend and I think he looks, well, uhh...*yummy* in a respectable sort of way! lol

No you don't look like a skin head...the glasses help with that I guess.

I would leave the earrings out for the interview (as previously said) then if you get hired, you'll figure out the rest.

Hey...wait a minute...I shave my head...hey...I have a ring too. Come to think about it, many of us guy nurses do. So, I personally see no problem. Just don't go tattooing all over the place...that can look tacky. But, for the interview, you may leave out the ear ring. The shaved head...hey, it's in style, bro. So don't worry about it. Your pic looks great to me. No problem.

One of our new hires has a shaved head, it's fine, and certainly easier to care for than long locks...
