Sep 7, 201015 yr You can delegate the pt that needs to go to the bathroom to a nurse's aide to assist. Then you can go see the verbally abusive situation and try to calm things down there.

Sep 7, 201015 yr Obsfucate - All exept for one post of yours have been "homework" or "test" types of questions.Don't you think you might try to at least answer some of them before coming here for someone else's answer?Asking someone to review your answers or reasoning might be more appropriate.

I'd toilet pt first because if you don't they may either a) wet themselves or b) try to get there on their own and fall. Abusive may not like waiting and may become more abusive but that can't be helped. And this still sounds like homework! You already have one thread going about this and you still haven't shared YOUR ideas!
Sep 7, 201015 yr OP, asking others to so your work for you will actually hurt you in the long run because you will lack the needed critical thinking skills your instructors talk so much about.. You really need to do this yourself, post what you think and WHY. Then ask others.. Good luck to you

Sep 7, 201015 yr If no one to immediately delegate toileting to, I would utilize good 'ol Maslow and toilet first (physical needs), deal with abuse second (safety and security).
