Just finished a unit test and when handing in the test to the teacher a student didn't fill in a drip rate on the back of the scantron. When he saw that he acted like he forgot but saw other students answers and put the answer he saw from someone else's test. What would you do? Let it go, tell the teacher? If I do blow the whistle he would prob get kicked out of the program.

Seriously? Are you that self-righteous of a person dude? Just drop it, is it really worth it to possibly ruin someone's life?
That's what I would do anyway.

That's a pretty sneaky move if you can prove it. It's probably best to let this one go since you really can't prove cheating, but for future reference don't sit next to this person.
I don't see how self-righteous comes into play here? Astro experienced a valid dilemma. I would way out my options just like you have.
I guess we just have different principles. I wouldn't feel comfortable ruining someone's future over something like this.
That's fine, but self-righteous? hmm you're over stepping
I put this question on here because if I was in the hospital needing nursing attention and the nurse that is overseeing me cheated on there exams I would not want that nurse because they might not know how to care for me properly or even worse be dishonest to my face regarding information that could be vital.

Definitely sketchy behavior, but I would let it go. Someone in my class went the director because of expected cheating and she got in trouble. In a situation like this, if it's not confronted at the time it is occurring, you have no evidence. If you feel compelled to pursue it further you could consider confronting your classmate in a professional manner. I wouldn't worry about this person becoming a nurse because anyone who has to cheat to pass nursing school is unlikely to pass boards.

I understand your frustration- I had a similar experience yesterday: A nursing math test that you're required to get 100%. there were 3 girls that were whispering away in a different language (the teacher was talking to another teacher who popped her head in to ask something). Eventually the teacher said "I don't want to hear anymore noise from this area (waving her hand to the corner) in any language or I'll take away the tests". but still they continued when she was distracted again.
This is a test that you get 3 tries otherwise you're out of the clinical rotation.
Not only is the whispering distracting, but if you can't do the basic math.... (and it was VERY basic) I wonder how she passed last year's more complicated exam.
The student who was copying (I believe the other two were helping) still failed the exam and the following one.
Ok, that was just a rant... sorry.
SO WHAT AM I SAYING? leave it alone... you have NO proof and can you honestly say that you are 100% sure she copied?!
These things have a way of working themselves out.

Cheaters won't last, let them destroy themselves...they won't make it through the program anyway

There is a possibility that he did genuinely forget to fill out the answer. Maybe he copied and answer and maybe he came up with it on his own- it's hard to tell. It really wouldn't be good to report him unless you are sure he was cheating. One question probably isn't going to make the difference between a pass and a fail anyway.

Not only is the student a cheater, but a stupid one at that. Cheating--and still failing? He/she needs to find some smarter co-cheaters.
