We need a hat!

Male nurses need a hat. Especially the hair growth challenged.

If agreed...what sort of hat and should it have a logo?

I'm partial to a beret because it seems to be the most flattering for fat old guys.

Logo? Maybe a big old glass syringe and needle or an enema bag? I'm sure y'all can come up with something better.

Cowboy hat.

Instead of string around the neck, we can use IV tubing.

On the front can be a picture of a stethoscope.

On the back, the slogan "Don't call me murse."

A simple but effective cover is the "tried and true" garrison cap (or "p**s cutter as we used to call them) used by the US Military for decades. Berets are a little bulky to carry when not used, but the garrison cap is flat and easily stored or even draped under trouser belts when you are uncovered. Colors could range from a basic white cover with dark blue or other contrast piping, or any combination of dark colors and contrast piping.

You could put an embroidered medical symbol (caduceus logo or similar) or even a pin on logo. Here is an example using the US Navy new uniform website:

Hope this helps!

why not a bedpan?

White scrub cap with Red Cross logo.

A bishop's miter

Hoss,

Thanks for posting the Navy uniform site. Navy Uniforms have come a long way since I was active duty in the 70's and 80's. My only concern with the garrison cap is if white we may look like soda jerks or good humor men. LOL

Now all we need are scrub pants with belt loops...

I think the garrison cap is a cool idea, though I'm partial to some design involving a surgical scrub cap.

Being Jewish, I'd be inclined to utilize a caduceus or rod of asclepius instead of a cross, red or otherwise. :) :hanukkahstar:

A fellow student has a belt loop work around. Brass grommets!

The scrub cap with rod/staff of Asclepius looks good on bald and hairy heads. I'll run it by my class mates.

I'm partial to fedora's myself.

My vote...
