I took mine Friday afternooon and it stopped at 75. I think I failed! It seemed like there was a disproportionate amount of med surg, priority and mental health questions, but not a single SATA. It's really freaking me out. All my friends who passed had at least 2 SATA questions.
My initial feeling was that I could have done better, thinking that I failed. I came in expecting to get more than 75. After 75, I knew I should have more questions, to get a better chance, because it seemed like I guessed more than half.

People have passed with no SATA, they are only a question format not automatically considered higher level. Don't second guess yourself!! You have an 85% chance of passing the first time. Many people feel the same as you after this test and happily come back saying they pass. Remember this test plays tricks with your mind. Good Luck and sending positive thoughts your way.

Everyone gets 50% correct and 50% incorrect. And SATA is just a format style, it does not determine the question.
The exam goes thru phases and we are starting to see less and less SATA questions on some of the exams, they just are not necessary to pass.
Best of luck to you on your results.

75 Questions is good!!!
I just took my RN boards this past Tuesday June 22 and got my results Friday that I passed!
I also had 75 questions!
Just because you didn't get SATA doesn't mean nothing at all. You just had a test with no SATA.
A lot of my classmates including myself all had 75 questions and have passed. If you see here in the forum a majority of people have passed with 75.
Best of luck and watch you will see that all that stressing was for nothing!!!
Best wishes!!

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, but I got the results this afternoon and I failed. I feel so down and helpless right now. At least I didn't cry. Maybe it's because I was expecting to fail or it hasn't sunk in yet.
I can't express my disappointment. All I know is I have to take it again in the next 45 to 90 days.
better luck next time. take some time to relax before you review. goodluck
