UWORLD 46%

I am averaging 46% and seem to be in a rut :( I take the NCLEX in 2 weeks. I am nervous my average isn't high enough to pass. Any input is extremely appreciated!

My average was 60% on Uworld and I passed in 75. But the questions on NCLEX were not even in the same ballpark as Uworld. It's very hard to explain. I guess they as well as the other study material focus too much on content.

I am afraid it is not enough. I passed my nclex last Dec. with average of 58% in Uworld. I passed with 75 questions, Uworld is very similar to the real exam. Good luck.

Honestly, it depends on the UWorld practice test. Each "test" will show you an average score of other people who took the same test (with the same set of questions) as you. Don't worry too much about what your score is...as long as you are consistently at the average or above average then you are doing fine. I studied with UWorld and was able to pass ;) Hope this helps!

I moved your post to the NCLEX forum to ensure maximum responses. Good luck!

I would be even willing to get all 265 questions :) I still have more questions to answer so I will keep plugging along. My percentage goes up by decimals slowly. What is the average needed to pass do you think? Thanks for your input :)

I was averaging 52% at first and found out today that I passed in 91 questions.

But by the week before my test, I was scoring up to 64%. So my grade got better towards the end. As long as you're improving.

I wouldn't focus on your average. Read through every rationale, even if you get the question correct. Know WHY you got the question wrong, and maybe write down the rationales if that helps you.

I had tests on UWorld ranging from 48% to 68%, finishing with an average of 58%. Passed the NCLEX with 75 questions.

Good luck and happy studying!

when I first tookUworld questions, it is like one month left for my exam and I only got 38% right. Gosh you dont know how desperate I was that time. However I kept on studying and my score went up with 45% 50% 55%, two weeks before I got 64% first time I still remember I cried. And then my score consistently around 55% to 65% one week before exam. I reviewed all the 250 flagged questions one day before my date. it helps a lot. Dont frustrate, just keep going you still have time!

Did you only use UWorld to study?

for questions, pharmacology is my weakness so I did the whole book of "pharmacology success" and half book of "prioritize and delegate" and read saunders as my reference. I learned Kaplan decision tree, and also had Kaplan pocket drug book which is very helpful at the end.

Focus on the rationales, use UWorld as a study tool, I finished the whole bank with 54percent and passed first try.

FOCUS ON THE RATIONALES

prioritize, delegation and assignment. This book is helpful for building critical thinking, like a stepping stone. I also did almost 1000 question on mastery nclex App for my weakness areas, a good app with high quality and updated questions. Overall, Uworld is the best and works best to practice two weeks or one month before exam.
