UTMB Spring 2013

I took the teas this morning and didnt do so great. 74.7 and all my other sections were good except for science. i made a 58.6. now im afraid im not going to get accepted. ughh

I know this is very premature but if accepted, does anyone plan on moving to the Galveston area?

I don't want to get my hopes up--but I would move. I live in Houston but I'm not fond of the drive.

When I spoke to an advisor she said anything the 70's were competitive for getting into the program. They look at other things too-not only your score. GPA, statement, etc.

I live in houston and i have a 3 yr old and because of my husband's job we cannot move. I have somewhere to stay in galveston but i would have to drive from houston everyday, or at least once a week depending on my schedule. We'll see!

Thanks, im just worried that, that science section score is going to be the deciding factor for me of not getting in. But i got my mystar account login and now im just waiting to hear back if i got accepted or not. is anyone waiting like me?

Unless I find a great deal on rent or find a family member that lives closer than I do, it seems more feasible for me to commute from houston than to move to galveston.

Nicole27: I received my mystar login as well and I think we waiting until contacted for an interview later on down the road; So now begins the worst part: WAITING

For those of you who have recieved long ins...was it emailed to you?

I received mine in three e-mails. The first said I would be receiving it, the second gave me my username, and the third gave me the password. All three of them were received within a minute of each other.

Hey guys I finally received my letter about the supplemental app! When I am about to submit it, they have a line for my signature and ID/SSN... how did you guys sign it or leave it blank?

omgoodness never mind... I figured it out! I'm so anxious to get this done.. I didn't read all of the instructions! lol

Futurepedrn22, how long did it take for nursingCAS to calculate your GPA after they received your transcripts? I called and they said once the GPA is calculated that means the application has been sent to UTMB... They received all of my transcripts (finally!!) but still no GPA :/ it has been 24hrs since they received my last transcript.

It was like two days Max dee1388!
