Thank you. It IS!!!! What's really awful is that yesterday when I checked my mail there was a PACKET, which got me really excited until I saw it was a phone part for my husband :-(. So everyone's e-connect still says "pending"?

LMAO!!!! I did that too. but I was running around the house when the kids was like mom this big envelope is for you. I was just a screaming and they were like what happen and I was like I got accepted only to find out that it was from the lady who does my taxes.

Is anyone who got an interview or acceptance packet still finishing up classes for their degree program (not pre-reqs). I've completed all prereqs but taking ONE class for my bachelors degree....but didn't get an interview. Just curious if anyone else was in my position.

Yes, it still says pending. I couldn't find on econnect where you're supposed to accept the offer, so I just mailed in my response. Look for a big yellow envelope! There's paperwork you have to fill out and return...that's probably why they don't send emails. One less step for them to have to do I guess!

I am interviewing friday for the baac2 program, they sent me an email asking me to go ahead and do my security background check. It is 45$ I am gonna do it but I will be unhappy if I pay for it and then dont get in. I called today and the lady I talked to said they want me to do it because they need it before january 1st, and before I enrolle for classes.

Virginia, I got my BA in 2007 i am finishing my statistics class right now. they called me and asked when I would be done with my statistics class.

I had the same thing happen with the background check. It certainly seems like it could have waited until we knew if we were in, as it only takes about 2 days to go through. Oh well.

Virginia, I don't think still having one class to finish would prevent you from being accepted as long as you would finish it by the time the bacc2 program started. The letter had three reasons for not accepting UTMBs offer...not finishing your bachelors degree in time, not having the immunizations, background check, CPR class and deciding to go to another nursing school.

Hey everyone! I actually had an interview today (on the phone) since I will not be in Texas on Friday. I thought you guys might want to know some of the questions that were asked.

Here are the questions I remember

1. Why do you want to be a nurse?

2. Why do you want to go to UTMB

3. How will you financially pay for this program

4. What is your best quality that is an asset to being a nurse

5. How do you feel about working with people of different ages/race

6. What will you do if you get a "D" and have never gotten a "D" before

7. What/How is your support system

8. What do you do now

9. How do you deal with conflict

10. If you applied to three schools and got into all of them how will you choose
