I just sent an email asking when they would be sending out interview invites and how long after would we find out about acceptance. I was talking to someone in my Anatomy class today and they said that a girl in their Patho class got an interview invite by phone last Wednesday...and they said she was going applying for the Generic program. The could have been lying completely but it still worried me. Toasterbell...I really wouldn't worry if I was you. Obviously you had a great interview and they say the interview is what determines everything really...so I'm sure that they were impressed with you and it might just be taking them a while to get all of their acceptance packets out. Anyone else who has heard anything about Generic please post!!! I'm dying over here!!!!!!

Thanks KatieLou. I was devastated today when there still wasn't anything in my mailbox. Maybe I'm in the group that has to wait until after everyone is interviewed because they don't have my complete transcripts yet or something. Oh well. It's already November, so I won't have to stress too much longer either way :-P.

Hi, I also got my acceptant letter today, ie. Monday, to the BACC2 program. Whew....

I would deeply appreciate it if any nursing student from UTMB BACC2 class that started in the Spring 2009 could be our mentor by giving us more insights and advices about:

1. what is a typical studying day, and the whole semester,

2. how is the clinical integrated into a very heavy workload at school,

3. especially, how many of us in a BACC2 class could make it to the final graduation day, (do we have some failed out of the program, some withdrew, some quitted...like I heard...which is not scarry but big concerns)

4. what is an average grade one could earn, I honestly mean that if it is at all possible for us BACC2 nursing student to earn an A in such a heavy work load of 20 credit hours per semester.

Thank you.

Congrats andan!!!! Whoo HOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

congratulations akn8ive and andan!!:anpom:

Hmmmm... quick question for those of you who got BACC2 acceptance letters... Does the school have your complete transcripts yet, or are you still completing stuff this semester?

toasterbell are you done with your degree or are you taking classes right now to finish it up?

I'm finishing up my last three classes this semester.

I got my degree in 2006, but I just finished my last three prerequisites a couple of weeks ago (lifespan, psychology, and sociology) and my transcript hasn't arrived yet.

Sarah_Ashley - dang! I was hoping maybe mine was just delayed due to that. Thank you for letting me know.

ohh man I wish this page would update new post automatically without having to push refresh.

ME TOO JAZZY!
