UTMB FALL 2014

I would like to start a thread for UTMB FALL 2014 since there I cannot find one. I am in the process of applying and this is the only school I am applying to. Right now, I just trying to finish my personal statement before I can submit it. I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time. So, how is everyone else doing?

Just heard back today for an interview. Finally!

@zurie have you had an interview? Congrats @VeronicaAnne

Interview was Friday! Timeline for their decision is 1-2 weeks from what my interviewer told me. Logging into Mystar repeatedly hoping to go from ugly green dot to the glorious green check. Good luck to y'all with upcoming interviews, you will do great. :-)

I know someone who just had their interview a couple days ago and they were told by their interviewer that the last interview is scheduled around the first week of April. I'm guessing that after that, spots may be opened up based on whoever has accepted/decline their invitations to UTMB.. That's just my guess though

I have a question for those of you who already had interviews. So we park in the parking garage and report to the building right across from it right? I got confused about the check in at student affairs...bc it shows 301 university is where the office of student affairs is located. I don't want to show up at the wrong place. I know I could call but I'm sure I could get a response on here quick.

You should go to the address they sent in the email. The one on mechanic st. Then follow their directions as to how to find the office of student affairs. It is the garage across the street though. Yes. On mechanic st. Don't be deterred by the "road blocked" signs. Go around them, the entrance on that side has the key pad. I hope I answered your question, I'm sorry if it was long and convoluted. :/

You'll park in the parking garage that they asked you to park in on the information email and you report to the college of nursing building at the room they asked you to go to :)

Ok. That's exactly what I thought. Thanks guys for clearing that up!!

Actually I was a little confused myself - not sure if it was because of it being so dead around there for spring break. Anyway, it's the big brown and tinted glass building right next to the garage (on a bit of a hill). Because of all the construction you have to walk toward the stairs in the garage and just past them is a little inlet for pedestrians to get across to the building. As long as you make it to the elevators after that you'll be golden! Didn't want you to get that rat-in-a-maze feeling that I had just before the interview :nailbiting:

Where is the green dot you are talking about? I know you said Mystar but I don't see anything on mine.

Look under Admissions, and you should have a green dot indicating that your application is complete.

Thanks! I retook my teas test Monday and sent it in! Hopefully I will be hearing soon if I get an interview. I can't wait any longer. I check my email and Mystar a million times a day!
