Nov 19, 201015 yr 3 wrong out of 53 questions = 94%....How the heck do I maintain an A in my classes omg....I read the textbooks, took notes, spent like 5hr on each chapter...this sucks
Nov 19, 201015 yr *shrug* I just respond to the content of the original message... I don't think I've ever gone to someone's profile to investigate their other posts. It wasn't my intent to be rude, but it would have made more sense if OP specified they were in highschool. The majority of "pre-nursing" students here seek advice regarding entry + pre-reqs...

It wasn't my intent to be rude, but it would have made more sense if OP specified they were in highschool. The majority of "pre-nursing" students here seek advice regarding entry + pre-reqs...I never "investigated" them. I've just seen their previous posts a while ago. I don't think you were being rude either. It is a little confusing having someone not in pre-nursing asking non nursing related questions.
Nov 20, 201015 yr High school students are allowed to post here about their current grades? Kind of weird. Isn't this a forum about pre-NURSING students? Not pre-college?
Nov 20, 201015 yr Experts Back to the mono example:Another aspect of correct critical thinking is you should never base your conclusion on assumptions that might not be true. In the example given, you assume that a person with mono would miss more than 3 days of school. That's not necessarily true. I had mono a few years ago (as an adult) and never missed a single day of work. My illness was did not make me seriously ill for a short period of time -- it was more of a slow lingering, yet mild form of the disease.Lesson learned: Don't make assumptions or jump to conclusions without having all the facts. You were right that critical thinking often involves "putting the pieces together," ... but you have to get the pieces of information before you can hope to reach a valid conclusion.
Nov 20, 201015 yr High school students are allowed to post here about their current grades? Kind of weird. Isn't this a forum about pre-NURSING students? Not pre-college?high school students need support and advice too because no one ever takes us seriously. Some high school students are taking AP science classes to cover pre-requisites so technically they are prenursing students too.
Nov 20, 201015 yr 94 is an A in my school. You know anyone can buy those stickers they give out, just buy some banana stickers and reward yourself. (dethclock/metallica reference anyone?)
Nov 22, 201015 yr Author Wow I am not a girl, and she didn't even look sick so I forgot to add that, I only stated she was "lying" because she wasn't sick after she was absent for 3 days, and had no other problems after that, she wasn't weak either. This thread is filled with spam mostly. If you can't take high school posting, then go complain it to the administrator, and don't bother posting here. (I also got all the info I need, so maybe I might not post anymore high school related stuff)If I don't got good critical thinking yet, well idc because I just turned 16, I am learning.(Sorry about my question, I forgot to ask how you guys maintain a A in your pre-reqs if I can barely get an A in high school...
May 28, 201115 yr 94 is an A in my school. You know anyone can buy those stickers they give out, just buy some banana stickers and reward yourself. (dethclock/metallica reference anyone?)94 was an A when I was in high school back in the 70s. In Parmedic school I was the 94 kid. Now I'm the 92 old lady. I'll get there. I have a tradition of buying myself a malted milk shake if I feel like I've done well on a test. But, then margaritas have their place, too!
