UCF 2010-2011 accelerated nursing program

I am applying and have requested all my transcripts, I did decent on the Teas test with an 86. Undergrad gpa 3.45, pre req 4.0

I went to the info session last month it was a bit of a pain :angryfire to sit through just to get the application passcode because of all the redundant you should do some research if your serious questions lol.

I am excited and hope to get in to move forward with my life goals of community health nursing.

I am also applying to UNF's program too. Their website is really detailed with everything I ever wanted to know. One of the few schools that have their stuff together.

my award showed up the very next day...on a saturday...

I haven't been to UCF since I graduated in 2000. I was offered unsub loans - maybe that makes a difference?? I filled out my fasfa for next year several months ago.

Were any of you enrolled at UCF last semester or last summer?

I attened HCC to take classes last summer and they told me after I did all the BS paperwork I could not get aid because I did not attened Spring 09. I need to know if this is the same for UCF so I can take out private loans now.

I received my financial aid awards for fall and spring semester already also. . . just not summer. I was previously a UCF student but haven’t attended since 08 and never received financial aid before. Not sure why it is showing up for some people and not others. This is all very confusing.

Well that is a relief to hear then :). I just want to know there is a possibly that I will receive something. HCC really disappointed me with that stuff last semester. Community colleges are just different like that I guess.

Did everyone buy books from amazon.com for the most part? If so, did you buy new or used?

Hey Julie, I just posted this on facebook too :)

I always buy new if I can. You can sell them and get most of your money back afterwards as long as they are not too battered.

Thanks Angela - that's very true. I'll probably buy new.

If anyone is going to the CPR class on Sat - I'll see you there! :yeah:

I'll be there on Saturday :)

Hey guys....just found this page =) could someone give me the facebook URL to add to my contacts??? Thanks!!!! Also was anyone able to find the package that we will be using the 1st semester online? I want to see if is cheaper outside of UCF.
