hey everyone,

i had a quick question for those fellow dallas classmates taking patho at the dallas campus: when is our final? my syllabus says dec. 12. is that correct? did she mean monday, dec. 14?

Alyssa3788 - you can go to the doctor and have them do a blood test - I think it's called a tither - it will show if you have the antibodies in your system from having the vaccine..they should accept that. I had to do the same thing.

No, it's right. It's on Dec 12, Saturday morning!!!!!!!!! She talked about it before she started the lecture (after the test). She said we will have 2 hours to take it. Also, I think she said there was a possibility that we could take it the day before, on Friday, but I walked in when she said that so I didn't get those details.

hello! i just wanted a little advice...i just got invited for interview at UTMB..and even though that doesn't mean ill get in i just don't know if i should go because i already accepted TWU's offer..what would you do? which school do you think is bettter and why? TWU is more convenient for me but UTMB was always my first choice..

what if we don't have proof of our chicken pox vaccine? i cant find mine...its not on my school record, i may have to see if my family physician from when i was little still has it on file but what do i do if i can't get it?

If you can't find the record the doctor can do a Varicella titer. I had one done for mumps, measles and chicken pox. I never had a mumps or chicken pox shot, but I had the mumps and chicken pox as a child so it showed up on a titer. You have to include the lab results of the titer with your immunization sheet.

i can't believe they just now sent out interview letters! when are you supposed to find out if you were admitted?

Ali523- supposably it only takes like a week after your interview to know if your in or not.

oh thats good! it took about a month and a half after ut's interviews for us to find out, and i couldn't imagine having to wait until december!
