I know I have said it before, but I have been reading and re-reading all the reply's to my "Somebody Please Help..." post, and I can't say Thank You enough. I have never felt such a surge of support. You should all be so proud of the people that you are. I am so excited about starting school. I go talk to an acedemic advisor in 2 weeks. She will tell me what classes I need to start taking. I am so excited, yet so nervous. It is hard going back to college, especially after 12 years, but some of the replys I read blew my mind. I can't believe how some of you went to work fulltime and had all these children (some with disabilities), etc,etc....I mean I CAN DO THIS. I know I can. I just need to be a little easier on myself...one day at a time.

Thanks also to this website I have discovered. What a GREAT service you provide!!! You deserve a pat on the back.

absolutly you CAN DO THIS! Just keep saying that to yourself and don't listen to those who say you can't. Alot of times they are saying that only because there are things they are afraid of doing and may never do.

Yes, YOU CAN DO IT!! I went back after 13 years and 3 children...it was not always easy, but as everyone kept telling me, IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!

I went back after realizing I just wasn't happy in the job I had. I had always wanted to go to nursing school, but never felt like I was smart enough. After talking to an academic advisor who told me that I might want to consider something else, my mind was made up for sure then(cause he really p#@@$d me off). 3 1/2 years later, I passed boards on the first try( and had to tell him) and haven't slowed down since.

It is truly the best and most rewarding (and frustrating) thing I have done since becoming a mother and now a grandmother.
