How to read telemetry strips

This is likely the title of a book somewhere. :)
If you are asking us how to read the strips that come out of a telemetry monitor, what do you know already, how did you learn it, and what do you need to know after looking in your book(s)?
We don't do your homework for you, though we will fall all over ourselves helping a student who gives evidence that s/he has tried to help him/herself before asking.

ECG Workout by Jane Huff helped me with reading strips. It was a book required by my nursing program.

I love Rapid Interpretation of EKGs by Dale Dubin, but everything all "clicked" for me once I was able to spend a shift with one of our experienced monitor techs and observe/ask questions.

Basic questions to ask
Is the rhythm regular or irregular?
Are there P waves?
Is every P wave followed by a QRS?
Is the QRS wider or narrower than usual?
Is the PR interval >20 seconds?
Are there any inverted P waves or T waves?
Are there any "extra" and unusual complexes?
Are there pacer spikes?
