suggest a name for postpartum depression program

Hi, I'm starting a program that offers a home visitation support service for women with postpartum depression but I need an organisation name...any suggestions would be great..

Hmm. "Out and Down" :)?

PPD and Me! :uhoh3:

Mum's with this condition already feel out of the norm. So why not try something like "Healthy Start" or "Mum, Babe, & Community".

Women with the condition don't need "fun" names, they need to feel normal. Names that don't suggest "special" care or concern but something that they can mention to family without feeling stigmatized.

New Beginnings?

Here are some I came up with:

Bright Futures

A Better Tomorrow

I post more if/as I think of them.

I suppose Blue's Clues is not a good idea, but it sprang from my jangled mind.

Sorry, I am not good at this.

Thanks Guys,

Your suggestions are great!!!

I appologize for making light of it, but regardless of the source, a depressed person is NOT going to "feel normal" about themselves -regardless of how pretty or solemn the name of a group is. Anyone who has or continues to battle depression knows this.

Not good with coming up with names, but I have to say that I like "Healthy Starts".......:) :)

I've experienced PPD. I've been treated for it, both as an inpatient and an outpatient. I would have run a mile from any group with a "cutesy" name. I wanted to be "normal" and enjoy my baby, not feel like the black dog of depression was shadowing my pram....

I like that one! Sounds helpful, promising, and not to "cute"
