I am considering taking Statistics and Microbiology together are these two classes okay together? I struggle with Math and I don't know how difficult Statistics will be for me. Is Microbiology as tough as Anatomy and Physiology? Do you think that I would do okay studying for both classes? As far as the time commitment and material involved.

I'm taking Micro and A&P together. If you have the time to commit to the classes you should be fine.

Stats isn't really so much math as it is knowing what data you are looking for and which formula to use. Good luck!
Yes I only work once or twice a month. I am married but I do not have any children at home. I go to church twice a week but otherwise my time is devoted to my studies.
Is it true you use a graphing calculator for most of your work?

I would say most statistics classes use the TI-84 (or some variation) calculator. It is a graphing calculator that has statistics functions. Most of the calculator work involves punching numbers into the function and reporting what you get.

Microbiology is definitely not as much work as Anatomy and Physiology. You can take a hard class like Stats with Micro and not feel like your life is over.
That's good to hear.

For me, micro was easier than A&P, but more boring. Stats is not hard either, just time consuming. You should be fine taking both if you put in the study time.

Micro is definitely easier as there is much less you have to memorize. For me, Stats was easier than College Algebra, and I don't particularly like math. Stats is simply memorizing formulas and keeping up with the values of variables within the equation.

I honestly think you will do great taking those classes together. Last semester I completed microbiology, statistics and pathophysiology in the same semester. I did it with a one year old and a three year old, which is why I know you can do it too! Once you get into your routine and get to know your professor's -it will be fine.

I took them together. I took statistics on ground at a community college and microbiology/lab online with the same college. Microbiology I found incredibly easy, statistics kicked my butt. In my opinion, microbiology was a lot easier than A+P which was exactly what I did NOT expect, but everyone is different. As long as you have the time to get them done then I'd say go for it. It would be much better than trying to take them while you are also taking nursing classes and doing clinicals
