265?s anyone pass with that?

I just took my test today and got 265 questions. I'm hoping that I was just the unlucky one and not that I completely failed. Anyone pass with 265?

I have had several friends take all 265 and pass. Some unfortunate souls get all of them. They are the validater tests.

I took the boards 2 yrs ago and got all 265 questions. I thought I failed, because a classmate had all the questions and failed. I however was lucky enough to pass. So don't give up hope. Keep us posted ;)

Some unfortunate souls get all of them. They are the validater tests.

This is a popular belief, but it is a myth that some testers are randomly selected to receive all of the questions. Not trying to be argumentative over small details, but it restarts a rumor that we fight here frequently.

The NCLEX test methodology and test questions undergo validation, but this is not achieved by giving random candidates the maximum-length exam. If a candidate's test keeps going to 265, the result may be passing or failing, but it is not random - it just means that the computer never reached a pass/fail decision with 95% confidence, which would be required for the computer to stop early.

In WI you can find out as soon as 24hrs and up to 48. I had EVERYTHING on that test. I talked to some friends at school, but they all pretty much got 75, so I came right home to you guys. Thank you for making me feel better. I will let you all know.

I got 265. I was drained after the test. I get my results today. I'm a mess.

My best friend got the whole shebang and she was hysterical thinking she bombed it. But.. she passed. :)

Yup. Me! Just found out! Me, with the 680 Hesi score (now I can admit it in public...), who walked out of the exam room feeling like he'd been waterboarded!

265 doesn't tell you anything, hang in there 'til you have the final word. This forum was actually kind of psyching me out, because a lot of people (including me, up until about 20 minutes ago) seem to talk about 265 like it's the mark of failing or something. ***That is BUNK!*** You have as good a chance as anyone of passing, and don't kid yourself otherwise.

Just thought that needed to be said more often! I'm praying for you, and everyone in "Club 75-265"!
