  1. Can you please alliterate how owning a Samsung equates to having lots of money? Samsung sells some pretty cheap phones thru prepaid carriers, I have personally seen samsung phones sell for as little as $25. The samsung s5 I currently own was hand me down from a family member who upgraded to a s7.
  2. Is the CEO, board members, and security searched as well? If it is union, I believe a strike is in order for the unwarranted searches. It is one thing to search a person they know is stealing, it is a totally different story to search every one.
  3. Pain killer seekers clog up the waiting rooms, and forces those who truly need care to wait longer for treatment. In stead of being given pain killers they should be getting psych consults. When they ask for a certain pain killer, and you tell them the hospital ran out of it but you got plenty of ibuprofen, they usually get up and leave pissed off. I had a man once claiming his leg hurt so bad, the pain was a 10, he couldn't even walk on his leg. I told him he could have ibuprofen, and it would be some time for a doctor to view his charts before he would even be considered for the drug he requested. After I told him that, he was able to walk on the leg that hurt so bad and then told me he would just go to the other hospital in town. That other hospital was informed about his planed visit. I have even requested psych consults for patients who's pain was so bad they could not get out of bed, nothing medically could explain the pain. After they were informed a psych consult was requested, they were healed, able to get out of bed and no longer in pain. Another patient that claimed he could not get out of bed and would pee all over the bed, was informed that the doctor ordered a Foley catheter to help with the incontinence, that was the fastest I had ever seen a person run out of the hospital still in a gown.
  4. Every job I have ever worked at and asked by a co-worker how much money I made, I would tell them I made $5-$10 below the starting wage even though I was making $5-$10 more then the starting wage. In stead of getting hate, I would be pitied and offered extra help because my co-workers felt guilt I was making far less then them. If you feel the need to talk about how much you make, always tell them you make far less than the starting wage.
  5. If you truly did not take out that drug, I suggest you contact a personal injury lawyer who specializes in labor/working. Lawyers do not charge for consultations so I suggest you report the one who charged you $100 to the bar association. If the lawyers you contact are demanding money upfront they are scamming you. The personal injury lawyer will take your case for free, if you lose you pay nothing, if you win the lawyer takes 20-30% from the settlement. If what you are saying is true we are not taking about peanuts, we are talking five figure settlement.
  6. If you read a lot of the comments on the threads on this website, a lot of nurses seem to have bad attitudes, and some of the comments make me think they are lazy and resentful. I personally would not want to be a patient of some of the nurses who comment on this website. With that said there are also a lot of nurses who comment on this website who are overly compassionate about patient care and generally seem to love their jobs even though they have to deal with rude, violent, and dangerous patients.
  7. Is your friend going to pay for you to retake your classes when you fail, because you helped her instead of studying for your own finales? Are your friends and or family going to pay for you to retake the classes when you fail because they guilt you into skipping your study time to help this girl? Your friend has options like you do, to sign up for study groups. You have no reason to feel guilty, your friend choose not to pay attention in class, which her grades are clearly reflecting. You need to stay focused on studying for your finals, at the end of the day you will be paying the price financially and grade wise if you do not study and stay focused.
  8. If people have passed with 75 questions, and you stopped at 204 then the odds of passing is in your favor.
  9. Try using a different web browser, I like to use crome but some times certain state web pages like the (county clerk of deeds) do not work well with crome or fire fox and do not open fully, but when I use internet explorer the web pages work fine as long as my adobe and java is up to date.
  10. Is it really worth having a job at that place if you have to deal with his behavior? You could always buy yourself a really nice and shiny engagement ring, when he asks who bought it for you, tell him your fiance who happens to work in law enforcement. That might scare him straight.
  11. You go to the red cross to be a babysitter, you go to college to be a RN. A $3 an hour pay difference does not fairly pay you for your training and skills unless your employer paid for your training and even then you would only work for lower wages for a contracted amount of time. Some of the school nurses in my state make $30-$45/hr and depending on what city the job may even come with a state pension and retirement benefits. The cashiers that work in my town hall make $18 an hour and gets benefits.
  12. Do you at least get paid holiday, paid sick days, and paid vacation? If you don't get any of those benefits you are overly being taken advantage of, fast food workers get all these benefits and they even get group insurance. A fast food workers health insurance isn't any thing to brag about but at least they get some kind of discounted health insurance.
  13. Also in my state(new hampshire) it is illegal to video another persons genitals and or breasts in the their private dwelling(home), so a parent recording in the patients bedroom would be illegal if their genitals and or breasts were exposed in that bedroom as part of the patients care. [h=1]TITLE LXII CRIMINAL CODE[/h][h=2]CHAPTER 644 BREACHES OF THE PEACE AND RELATED OFFENSES[/h][h=3]Section 644:9[/h] 644:9 Violation of Privacy. – I. A person is guilty of a class A misdemeanor if such person unlawfully and without the consent of the persons entitled to privacy therein, installs or uses: (a) Any device for the purpose of observing, photographing, recording, amplifying, broadcasting, or in any way transmitting images or sounds of the private body parts of a person including the genitalia, buttocks, or female breasts, or a person's body underneath that person's clothing; or (b) In any private place, any device for the purpose of observing, photographing, recording, amplifying or broadcasting, or in any way transmitting images or sounds in such place; or © Outside a private place, any device for the purpose of hearing, recording, amplifying, broadcasting, observing, or in any way transmitting images, location, movement, or sounds originating in such place which would not ordinarily be audible, visible, or comprehensible outside such place. II. As used in this section, "private place'' means a place where one may reasonably expect to be safe from surveillance including public restrooms, locker rooms, the interior of one's dwelling place, or any place where a person's private body parts including genitalia, buttocks, or female breasts may be exposed. III. A person is guilty of a class A misdemeanor if that person knowingly disseminates or causes the dissemination of any photograph or video recording of himself or herself engaging in sexual activity with another person without the express consent of the other person or persons who appear in the photograph or videotape. In this paragraph, "disseminate'' and "sexual activity'' shall have the same meaning as in RSA 649-A:2. III-a. A person is guilty of a misdemeanor if, for the purpose of arousing or gratifying the person's sexual desire, he or she knowingly views another person, without that person's knowledge or consent, in a place where one would have a reasonable expectation of privacy. For purposes of this paragraph, "views'' means looking at another person with the unaided eye or any device intended to improve visual acuity. IV. A person is guilty of a misdemeanor if such person knowingly enters any residential curtilage, as defined in RSA 627:9, I, or any other private place as defined in paragraph II of this section, without lawful authority and looks into the residential structure thereon or other private place with no legitimate purpose. V. 14. Doesn't the child have an expectation of privacy? If the cameras are filming while the child's private areas are in plane view of the camera it may even arise to child Media.
  15. How much do you get paid per hour to be a private duty nurse? Is it safe to assume you make at least $30/hr and get benefits. Babysitters get paid $7.50 per hour, this is for complete care including diaper changes. What is the point of having a private duty nurse if the parents are going to do every thing the nurse is suppose to do while the nurse sits around watching? The parents go to work so that they can keep the insurance which pays you to come take care of the child. If I was making $30 an hour and got benefits I would not care what the parents was or was not doing while I was working my shift, and frankly it would be non of my business what the parents were doing unless they were harming my patient.
