  10. Hi All! This website as been fantastic for me, I'm sure without this network of people I wouldn't have had the bottle to make the move to the USA!! I think only the people who are or have moved understand what an emotional rollercoaster it is when you are planning to move (especially with pre-teenage kids!!) I have had many doubts about moving, but reading peoples journals and posts gives me a lot of support so THANKS TO ALL! Special thanks to Madwife and Cariad for making me and my DH so welcome and giving us both great advice Silverdragon, thanks for advice from this side of the pond, it's great to have a pal going to the same hospital!!
  11. Hi, I-140 filed 25th Nov 2006 at Nebraska, when I checked online it states file updated on 29th Dec but no change in status yet.......guess I'm in for a long wait:smackingf
  12. Hi we are also going to Phoenix (eventually) We wanted sunshine, outdoor living, no humidity and decent cost of living and hopefully Phoenix will give us that. Visited a few months back and really liked it, going back in march. Agree with your comment about Scottish weather!
  13. Happy new year all
  14. :icon_razz: Merry Christmas to you all
  15. Hi I work in medical at GRI. Did my training at eastern college of nursing (now closed!) Hoping to move to Phoenix in 2007 currently waiting for approval:bugeyes:
  16. Just wanted to say hello, i'm not in the US (yet!!), but I currently work in Glasgow (GRI) Did you work there before you moved?
  17. Hi there, reading your post with interest I also have kids who don't particularly want to move. (The oldest at 10 tells me she is going to move in with her gran!!) We went on holiday to the states recently, looked at houses etc. even the oldest was picking her new room! The kids also liked the pools (community park had waterslides and stuff) it swayed her a little towards moving, but it is a worry, I suppose you can only do your best to prepare them, daughter getting laptop for xmas...can use MSN in the states:icon_biggrin:
  18. I went on 1hr course to learn male cath, been doing men so long now think I would struggle with womens bits!!!
  19. Hi there, I sat the NCLEX last week in the states while on holiday. Thankfully I passed. I cannot recommend enough Suzannes study programme! (Look at the NCLEX discussion forum on this website for more info) Good Luck!!
  20. Hi there, I've still to sit the exam (waiting for ATT), but I can recommend saunders and suzannes program. I think it's difficult to study when you're doing it on your own so it helps to have a plan and direction from someone. I hope you get lucky next time, I just want it over and done with cos I feel as if thats all I think about lately:selfbonk:
  21. Brilliant news:yelclap:
  22. Thanks for replies, went back and got them done no probs!:monkeydance:
  23. Thanks, after reading your posts will def go to another police station.
  24. Hi Anna, Thanks for reply, maybe i'll try another police station (as they didn't ask my name) and see if I get lucky! I don't need any more holdups!! Things going slowly as usual, how about you?
