I pray to god they don't come to canada. All the new graduates RN this year from my university none of them found a job at the local hospital. I've heard horrible things about Philippino psw in retirement home. I think on top of schooling, basic ethic is extremely important too.

If you want to apply for ROTP it's very competitive. It's easier if you apply for direct entry. For 2014, they have 6 positions for ROTP (which is paid schooling) 77 students applied. As far as direct entry, less people applied, since you'll get paid more in a civil hospital working as a part-time nurse with all the over time, you make away more than a nurse in the Army.
