  2. Hi all, please help for NCLEX pn pharmacology

I used saunder and exam cram pn and also passed with 85q. I focused more on other subjects rather than pharmacology... Study the most common ones you learned in nursing school. Don't worry too much about pharm..good luck!

  6. Can Someone Help - Psychiatric Technician Student

Oh yeah! I would recommend exam cram and saunder. - To the other person. Google on how to be "respectful".
  7. Can Someone Help - Psychiatric Technician Student

I heard of a psychiatric nurse but not a psychiatric nursing student... Anyways Nclex is similar to a test you take in nursing school but harder. Go to the library, rent a nclex book. Read it and do all the questions. Just don't memorize, but know th...

  10. Tired, Burned Out, and Broke...

I love nursing and I agree nursing isn't for everyone. If you hated it so much, I think you should quit. That way you will be a lot happier.
  11. What's up with these test grades?? :/

Med surg was by far my favorite subject. Best way to study for med surg is knowing what the disease is. What's the cause of it, how is it dx, what is the treatment, s/s of the disease (subjective and objective) nutritions for that specific disease, i...
  12. Am I being insensitive? ?

She has cancer. It's not easy dealing with a deadly condition. Try to understand op:)... No matter how annoyed you get, just deal with it:). Your gonna be a nurse soon, there's going to be more crazier things that you need to handle with compassion.
  13. It's Never too Late to Start - Or to Finish

You age but your heart doesn't. Being a great nurse is within your heart :)
  14. Tired, Burned Out, and Broke...

Much more harder than I expected. First couple weeks was challenging. I was stressed out, cried, and just felt like giving up. But eventually I got the hand of it and started to love going to class. Nursing is hard! But if your very determined, then ...

  16. New Nursing Student(Not getting the concept of it)

Ah I remember failing my first test in nursing school. I cried like a baby bc I wanted to start the beginning of nursing school with good grades. I wanted to quit and drop out, but luckily my bf was there to give me a slap of reality. So let me tell ...
  17. getting thru this!?!

If they don't want to be your friend, let it be. Just worry about yourself:) You won't see them or even hear from them again once you graduate. Focus on what you need to do, that's all it matters. Your going to be a great nurse. Your going to change ...

  19. Nclex pn from cali

For Californian, you have to pay for the license fee first before your name gets on the Bvnpt site. It takes about 2-4 weeks for your results. I waited 3 weeks for mine.
  20. drag and drop, are these hard?

I had a lot of sata and some drag and drop. They weren't that hard. When you get sata just think of it like any other multiple choice questions. know the step for med administration (all route), procedures, etc.....
  21. NCLEX anxiety

Having anxiety is normal:)..I rescheduled my test twice due to my anxiety and I felt like I wasn't ready for it. I wanted to reschedule it the third time, but then I asked myself do I want to prolong my anxiety or get this over with? For most of us w...
  22. WHERE TO BEGIN???!

I used the exam cram pn and Saunders comprehensive pn review. Those books were really helpful. I always did free questions I found online. On the day of the test just relax and don't over analyze the questions and answers:)
  23. Why is this question always asked?

There, there, no need to get all offensive. I'm just suggesting that you shouldn't keep asking why, why, why. Many of these newly members are concern about their up coming exam. You should understand since you been in their shoe once. They're seeking...
  24. Why is this question always asked?

    Definitly agree with your post.
  25. Why is this question always asked?

Hm I thought the purpose of this thread is to help and give advices to our future nurses. What's wrong with them asking the same questions? Not everyone read the posts that is posted up. This tread will probably died out without them asking questions...
