I agree with all the previous posts. I think you should take the refresher course.

I used saunder and exam cram pn and also passed with 85q. I focused more on other subjects rather than pharmacology... Study the most common ones you learned in nursing school. Don't worry too much about pharm..good luck!

It doesn't matter how much sata you get:).. I stopped at 85 and I had lots of sata. I passed. My friend also stopped at 85 with very few sata and she passed.

I heard of a psychiatric nurse but not a psychiatric nursing student... Anyways Nclex is similar to a test you take in nursing school but harder. Go to the library, rent a nclex book. Read it and do all the questions. Just don't memorize, but know the contents. There's lots of practice questions online too that u can study off. Good luck future nurse!

I love nursing and I agree nursing isn't for everyone. If you hated it so much, I think you should quit. That way you will be a lot happier.

Med surg was by far my favorite subject. Best way to study for med surg is knowing what the disease is. What's the cause of it, how is it dx, what is the treatment, s/s of the disease (subjective and objective) nutritions for that specific disease, interventions, contraindications, and pt teaching. I would also recommend using nclex book to study for med surg too. Make up questions and have yourself answer it or even have your classmate come up with them. Use other books for resource. Form a study group. Go tutoring if your school offer it. And when your answering questions remember to prioritize, use your ABC's, what do you think is best for the pt, and look for any tricky words or clues. Hope that helps! Good luck!

She has cancer. It's not easy dealing with a deadly condition. Try to understand op:)... No matter how annoyed you get, just deal with it:). Your gonna be a nurse soon, there's going to be more crazier things that you need to handle with compassion.

You age but your heart doesn't. Being a great nurse is within your heart :)

Much more harder than I expected. First couple weeks was challenging. I was stressed out, cried, and just felt like giving up. But eventually I got the hand of it and started to love going to class. Nursing is hard! But if your very determined, then you will get through it. (Although the road to nursing gets bumpy but will it eventually gets smoother)

Scrubs makes me feel like superman and it's comfortable:)
