Am I Ever Done
In CA the BRN is supposed to no longer show prior discipline after 10 years of completion of the probation program. However the record is always visible on nursys. Is it possible to remove the record from nursys? I couldn’t find any information about that on their website.

CA. How many of you on probation wish you chose diversion?
Hello! I am trying to consider what would be best for my future. I plan on going to NP school, and so I am considering the intervention / diversion program to keep a mark off my license. In CA, there will be a mark showing past discipline even if you have completed the probation program.

I'm sure I'll be in monitoring soon and I could use advice
I would think going back to school for nursing would be difficult since many schools ask if you have an unencumbered license... however I’m following to see what others say

Taking Vacations
I must have an awesome employer. In my first year of working as a new grad, I took a 2 week long vacation, which used 6 days of PTO (which I saved from 2 years of working as a CNA). I also was a CNA on a different unit, so I had a different director/ boss. So I do not think me being a CNA there affected their decision to let me have a trip. The way the scheduling works is that we all can choose our preferred days to be scheduled. We also get to choose 5 days per pay period to choose to have off. I usually got the days I chose. I scheduled myself to allow for a week long trip to New York by working 4 days in a row, 1 day off, then the last 2. I did this cause I didn't want to use my PTO that time.

transcript form for CA BON
Anyone else have more to add to this? Because my college does not seem to send transcripts straight from there, but instead uses a 3rd party. https://www.imperial.edu/docs/admissions-records/student-information/7687-transcripts-request-information/file

How much did you pay for your online RN to BSN program?
Hello everyone, I just got accepted into Norther Arizona University's online RN to BSN program. I am out of state, so my out of state tuition may be up to $19,410. I was wondering if I should settle with this or look into other programs. So, how much did you pay for your education; did you pay out of state tuition? Can the classes fit for a full time worker? Tell us about your program!

How long did CNA endorsement take for you?
Oh, so you will be travelling there only when you are in school? Did they contact you already? Unless they told your certification will be limited, I wouldn't worry about that. It seems some people get it quickly, and others not so much... Haha, good luck to your endorsement process too! It's officially been a week. They still haven't cashed my check. I hope my letter did not get lost in the mail, I'm contemplating sending another letter....

How long did CNA endorsement take for you?
Hi you all! I am applying for my CNA endorsement in Arizona. I am hoping it's not a super long process, because I am applying for the nursing program in Arizona and a CNA certificate is one of the requirements! Wish me luck you guys! I am wondering how long it took you all for you to endorse your CNA certification to another state. :)

Would a BSN in arizona be ignored in california?
So in that case, it's best if I call the Board of Registered Nursing in California and ask if they'll accept it from my school?

Would a BSN in arizona be ignored in california?
I will be getting a bachelor's degree in Arizona, but I want to work in California. Is it able to be used there? Will employers ignore it, since it is not from California? I have heard of people with their RN in Arizona going to California to work, but I have not heard specifically about a bachelors degree. What have you guys experienced? Please let me know your thoughts!

School recommendations for Associates degree for RN?
I'll try those colleges! I prefer lottery because i feel because of my repeats that I would't be accepted much places... I do want a bachelors one day, but I figure since i finished the prerequisites for associates that I can start off with this and move my way up! :)

School recommendations for Associates degree for RN?
I finished many of the pre-requisites to apply for the nursing program. I want to apply for an RN license program, however my problem is i retook the science courses (Microbiology, anatomy, physiology) about 3 times (I took the classes and either dropped or failed). I currently have all the classes passed, but still have repeated a couple of the courses. I know many schools don't like this, I am wondering if anyone here online have any school recommendations?

Microbiology help PLEASE!!! My major unknown may be contaminated?
Mostly asking for tips not direct answers on what it is. I think i'll try gram staining with staphylococuss (+) and e coli (-) on the same slide. That way I can tell if i'm doing it wrong. Cause the little purple dots are making me think that it's contaminated with another bacteria, when it probably isn't! Also the pic is on 100x magnification, its just a cellphone photo so its not super greatly detailed, but the purple dots can be seen! Hopefuly that streak plate method of isolation works :) Thanks everyone

Microbiology help PLEASE!!! My major unknown may be contaminated?
I tried taking the best pictures I could! Microbiology Gram Stain (Positive and negative?) - Imgur I didn't put it on a special agar. Just the trypicase soy agar. And I followed this youtube video's advice on streaking the plate for isolation. But in the pics, you can see the majority is pink with a few speckled purple through-out the stain :'( At first I was thinking it was cocci, but i had a couple students peek and they said they think bacilli. My bacteria sample is so tiny v.v any tips on distinguishing the shape?

Microbiology help PLEASE!!! My major unknown may be contaminated?
I'll try the streak plate isolation method you guys are talking about! The gram stain seems to appear cocci to me... both the pink and purple parts of it.... I'll provide pictures if its allowed here
