  1. I got my U Penn acceptance letter this morning (2/19)! I decided to let go of Yale, and up until this morning, my plan looked like UT-Austin. Now I have some difficult choices to make!
  2. I got my acceptance letter this morning for the Full-Time PMHNP MSN program! I didn't think I'd get anything today since it's a holiday, but they sent it this morning at around 9:00 AM CT ?
  3. ? Are we all still waiting to hear back from admissions? I have to send a million dollar deposit to Yale by 2/15 and I'd really like to know what Penn's decision is before then so that I know all my options!
  4. I just got accepted to the MSN PMHNP program! I'm not alternate entry (I already am a BSN, RN) but I know there are some people on here who are also traditional entry! Edited to add: acceptance email was sent by TD at 1709 today ?
  5. Yeah, my interviewer said the same thing (le sigh). I got too impatient to wait for an All Nurses response even though I waited all of 3 minutes, so I just emailed the admissions department!
  6. Hello to any fellow Penn Summer 2024 applicants! Has anyone heard from/ personally contacted admissions to see when decisions would be released? Yale wants a non-refundable deposit of $600 by Feb 15th, and I'd rather not pay that if Penn admits me! If nobody has heard anything, I'll most likely contact them to see what I can find out!
  7. I'm applying for the regular (non-entry level) PMHNP program, but I know that there are some of you on this thread who have also applied. I just (literally 1 minute ago) received information that those decisions will come out "by the end of next week."
  8. I applied to the traditional PMHNP program! I got an email on 1/22 telling me I was invited to an in-person interview on 1/24... very very short notice which seems a little disorganized/ unprofessional to me. I'm waiting to hear back from U Penn and I already got accepted to Yale, so UT is technically my third choice school & I'd probably only consider going (if I'm accepted) if the financial aid package is amazing. I don't like living in TX and want to get out LOL.
  9. Hello! Future PMHNP here! 1) Yale Fall 2024, U Penn Summer 2024, UT-Austin Fall 2024. 2) Preference is U Penn (in-person, but all the programs I applied to are in-person). 3) RN for 8 years, 1.5 in Peds Psych. GPA 3.8 or 3.9? Can't quite remember ? Did not need to take the GRE for any programs d/t GPA. 4) Interviewed w/ a PMHNP advisor for U Penn last week! 5) Accepted to Yale, still waiting to hear from the other two programs.
  10. Hi! This thread was for 2023-2024 decisions, so the dates might not be exact I'm guessing. With that being said, I applied for PMHNP 2024-2025 and had my interview last week ?
  11. I got in as well! Peds Primary Care. Deciding between Duke and Penn though.
  12. I applied to peds primary!
  13. I had my phone interview yesterday, and just got an email today about my application status.... I'M IN! Fall 2020 Peds Primary Care!
  14. I just got an email about setting up an interview... anybody else? I applied for Fall 2020 Peds Primary NP.
  15. Hi! I applied for the Peds Primary Care program. I just had my interview this morning and I guess it's just a waiting game now! Good luck to all (and happy Mardi Gras)!
  16. Hi! I'm starting in the CICU at CNMC! I can't say much about the institution as a whole, but the atmosphere in the CICU at CNMC was extremely supportive and welcoming when I was shadowing. I did my practicum at Johns Hopkins in the adult cardiac ICU, and while it was an amazing experience, I can't say I felt the same way re: teamwork and communication. CNMC was "it" for me.
  17. Hi all! I am a current student in the ABSN program. I remember being in your shoes not so long ago... let me know/ PM me if you have any questions!
  18. After a long decision process, I've decided to attend Hopkins... Good luck to all of you on the wait list!
  19. I haven't really gotten any info other than the stuff that's on the website, which mostly just talks about what the fellowship is and lists the course descriptions! I guess if I don't get my Qs answered on here or on FB, I'll hopefully find out more at accepted students day. Congrats on the fellowship by the way! I'm trying to decide between Duke and JHU, but I'm leaning more towards JHU!
  20. Hey jdvcj ! Yes, I received the Fuld info with my acceptance letter. It was a separate letter inside the acceptance package that I got in the mail.
  21. Hi cnp2012! I was searching "Fuld Fellows JHU" on allnurses, and noticed in a previous forum that you are a Fuld Fellow... I was accepted to JHU with the Fuld Fellowship, and I was looking at the course descriptions for the extra courses that the Fuld students have to take. It mentioned in the course descriptions that "Level ___ Fuld Fellows complete 56 clnical hours..." Is this 56 hours in addition to the other clinical hours we'll have, or are the 56 already part of the other clinical hours? I hope this question makes sense! You can PM me if it's easier. Thank you!
