UPDATE: original tentative offer received on April 13th. Firm offer received on May 25th and I start June 12th

I was offered 2 positions and they never called any of my references. I am not sure why this is, I was shocked,.

I too added a cover letter to my resume when I sent it in. Here is how my hiring process went: Once the job closed, I got an email in a few days that said I was "Among the best qualified for the position and if they were interested, they would call me. Two days later, I was called for an interview. 3 days after the interview, I was called that I was selected for the position. I got the selection call on April 15th and got my firm offer on May 25th and start June 12th.

Any insight would be helpful here before I pull out every last strand of my hair. Was informed that my Vetpro was sent to HR on April 27th and HR is sending it to boards. Physical and fingerprints done on May 1st. Completed my Equip May 2nd. How long from this point to final offer? Very curious as to how much the offer will be. RN, board certified with MSN with 5 years experience on the floor and teaching as well.

WOW, seriously? I hope to god mine does not take that long. I have been checking my email constantly. I completed my physical on May 1st along with fingerprints. My Vetpro was completed April 27th. I am anxiously awaiting an email/call with final offer.

I have seen the 9 dimensions of nursing mentioned frequently on here. Some have said they have to fill out papers for that. Those words were never even mentioned to me. They have my entire package and it was sent to boards and I am awaiting final offer.

That is excellent! You are on the right track. I am going through all of that goodness now! The HR rep told me it could take 2-3 months to complete it all!

I walked out of my interview feeling the same way. Someone that I know that works there told me that is a good thing. HA!!! Well, a week after my interview HR called to offer me the position. And, everything is tentative pending all of the items that you have to submit. And now I wait. My interview was March 31st and I was offered the job on April 12th. My physical was May 1st. I completed all of my documents and my VetPro was completed on April 27th. And now, I just wait anxiously checking my email for the offer. Note: My vetpro was completed quicker than usual because I had it all filled out from when I taught clinicals at the VA, I only had to add a couple items. And on another note: On the e-qip, the first time I submitted it, it was returned back to be because I did not list my street suffix and 2 entries. So, please make sure that you have Rd. Dr. Ln. or whatever after each street you enter! When I received the initial offer, HR told me it takes typically 2-3 months from offer letter to hire,.

For all of you that are going through the process now this is how it went for me this month. !. reported to occupational medicine where I handed in the stack of papers that I filled out. From there they directed me to get my urine screen. I locked up all of my belongings and patted myself down to show that my pockets are empty. They put the blue pill in the toilet and had me wash my hands in front of them. Then we came out and he showed me that he turned off all of the water in the restroom. Sent me back in to give a sample. Once I handed it to him, he turned the water back on and I could go back in and wash my hands. Following that, they sent me back to occupational medicine where I had my physical. Physical consisted of eye exam which tested near and far sight, stereo vision and I believe peripheral vision. Height and weight were done along with blood pressure. Following that, I went in to see the doctor. While in there we did the basic neuro exam, heart and lungs and chatted about my health. And then I was sent to the lab to get blood work. They drew 10 tubes of blood. YES, 10 tubes. Following the lab I went and was fingerprinted. My appointment was at 10 and I was honestly out of there by noon. Everything was very well organized. Now, I just sit and wait for my final offer. I was told that my VetPro was done and my e-qip was turned. HR was waiting for my VetPro and then was sending my package to the boards to complete the process.

I interviewed 2 weeks ago and got a job offer yesterday. I faxed all of my documents over to the NPSB this afternoon and I am curious as to what level I will be brought in at. I have been an RN for 5 years. I have had my BSN since 2013 and my MSN since December of 2016. I will be working as the spinal cord educator. The job description said the salary range was 60k-112k. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is quite confusing.

Hopefully someone can fill me in here. I just accepted a tentative position with the VA in Cleveland. I faxed them all of the documents that they requested. I have been an RN since June 2102 and I received my NSN in 2013 and my MSN in December 2016. When they are calculating the years of experience, do they go from when you got your RN if you have worked full time the entire time? What grade will I fall under. The position says the that salary is 60-112k. When I am looking at it, I think that I fall under nurse IV or V but I am not certain. My position will be RN in the education department as Spinal Cord Educator

I applied for the PMHNP program and I was wondering if anyone has received their admission decision yet. I am anxious to begin the next chapter of my career!

I applied to OU and it literally took 6 weeks to hear anything. And, that was with calling to check on receipt or transcripts, and following up. I start October 1, so I hope the classes are not as bad as their admissions

I just got home from my test. I took it this morning. I too got all 265 questions and was exhausted. Once it said delivery successful, I tried the trick and I got the good pop up. My husband wants to go celebrate tonight, but I can't celebrate just yet. I feel I need to see the license number to be 100% sure!
