The best advice I have ever read. @OP I am in the similiar boat with my parents they think nursing is going to take to long and want me to go into buisness or corrections. Its just how parents are I suppose.

If the program doesnt require it I would say dont do it. It gave me such a head ache with financial aide. You can volunteer at the hospital and be recognized in the point system for it. but if you are not sure if nursing is for you I would say do it...

Yes! What was your asvab score? Did you retrain or just enlisted chose that MOS. How is it so far? do you train with the rest of the 68 whiskeys or do you straight to LVN training while skipping over the EMT training?

Took it last semester. I bought the atlas too thinking it would help.... I never opened it for class. Its a great class that can be challenging at times but you will be fine if you apply your self.

The hardest part of microbiology for me was calibrating the microscopes... I almost dropped the class because it was so difficult for me. Other then that pretty straight forward class.
