  1. Thanks for your insights. Would mental health nursing be more geared to psychosocial health or would it be more medication management?
  2. [h=1]I am currently in a nursing a program and it seems that so much of it is based on medications/pharmacology. I love working with people. Particularly I found a passion in working with at risk youth. I am also very much interested in working in the area of eating disorders. I also really enjoy topics like psychosocial health. I originally thought nursing and working as an eating disorder nurse or within the schools. Can anyone enlighten me more on the role of a nurse and social worker? What are the pros and benefits of both careers?[/h]
  3. Any luck with making your decision? I'm in a nursing program but everything thus far, is about medications. I'm really interested in psychosocial health and feel passionate about issues with mental health particularly in eating disorders and adolescents. I love working with people and right now am wondering if nursing is the best decision or if social work is a better one? Any suggestions, comments or advice welcome!
  4. I was wondering if you came to a decision. I just finsihed my undergrad in Psych and loved it. However, now I am trying to determine whether to pursure nursing or social work. With nursing I am worried about killing a patient. Should I not be a nurse then?
