I recently bought the Omron electronic BP wrist monitor, but find it to be somewhat inaccurate. Anyone else have this prob? What is a more accurate electronic BP monitor? I work in an LTC facility and need quick BPs Thanks

I agree that manuals are the most accurate.......but Im a newbie and have 37-43 patients. Most of the residents get highly agitated and don't even like their BP to be taken with electronic cuff. I'm slow as it is with med pass, TXs. Finish my 8am b...

I'm a new grad LPN and work in LTC. I had orientation-5days. I have 37 patients!!! Mentally, physically and emotionally stressful. My opinion, don't take it; not worth the stress!

I did exam cram (found mistakes), lippincott. Not a big fan of exam cram.

I liked Saunders a lot! IMO-I thought that book prepared me the most. I took my test January 4th (passed on 1st try with min amount of Qs)

PDA is more geared twds RN but can be used for LPN as well. I used it ( more for the SATA Qs). Difficulty level of Qs is higher up. What books do u have?

I also used the mnemonic books, plus look into the "incredibly easy" books. They have one for funds, med-surg, etc. also, peppermint aids with memory. I always had a cup of peppermint tea as I studied. During tests, have some peppermint gum, tea. ...

This book is all questions-I used this to prepare + the Saunders book for content (green)-I did the questions at end of each chapter and any weak areas that I had I reviewed which happened to be Pediatrics
