Can I send both an e-mail and a handwritten thank you note? PLEASE RESPOND.
No. Since I didn't get all of the managers (the panel) contact information, I just sent the thank you email and mailed the card to the program coordinator. In the letter, I thanked everyone.

Got a job offer... agreed... & forgot to ask about pay.
So fortunately, I got a job offer in a nurse residency program. I graduated last May and just passed the NCLEX for the first time this month. After graduation I was stuck overseas for a few months. Anyway, I am so thankful that I got the job because I really like this hospital and the program is ideal for me. However, the manager gave me a phone number to call for screening and what not before the start date. She also asked if I had any questions asbout the program. She told me a few other things but due to my excitement... I forgot to ask her about the salary. I have an idea of what it is going to be. But should I call back and ask her? Or since I don't see it as a big deal, maybe not call. Do you think she will be wondering why I didn't ask?

Officially Passed the NCLEX... Here's how:
There's a Saunders book that just has test questions without content. But, I used the book that reviews nursing content and after each chapter is a practice test. I recommend doing the practice tests before reading the chapter to determine how much you need to focus on that particular chapter.

Can I send both an e-mail and a handwritten thank you note? PLEASE RESPOND.
mclennan: Thanks for your response. I really do appreciate it when I ask questions and the community here on AN responds. However, when I asked this question, I only got one response (in time). I also spoke with someone who told me to just do both in case the snail mail gets lost or takes too long since they're likely to make a decision soon. I am just praying that I get chosen despite being nervous during the interview.

Can I send both an e-mail and a handwritten thank you note? PLEASE RESPOND.
So this morning I had a panel interview with a group of nurse managers for a nurse residency program. I am thinking about sending a thank you note. I know there are several posts about this on AN, and from what I have read either e-mail or handwritten is acceptable. However, is it overkill to send both? I didn't get every manager's name and/or email address. So, I'm thinking about just writing the note to the manager who is also the coordinator of the program. I was really interested in the position but during the interview my nervous got the best of me. So I am hoping this note might help a bit (and if not, oh well...). They told me that I would hear their decision at the end of the week. Should I just send a handwritten note? Or should I email her AND send the note by mail, while letting her know in the e-mail that I mailed her a letter? HELP! :)

8 Months Pregnant; New Grad; Interview
Well, I just go back from the interview. I was SO nervous & couldn't think straight (think deer in headlights). I found out that it doesn't technically start until sometime in May. I am praying that they call me back. I hope they over look how nervous I was. Please wish me luck. :)

Resume question... How should I write this?
Well, I just got back from my interview. I was so nervous. I'm hoping I didn't screw it up. Anyway, I Put: Registered Nurse, State of Missouri: pending license number: effective (date). And guess what? When I got back from my interview, I found my name & license # posted on my state's BON. lol.

Resume question... How should I write this?
If I don't get my license # before the interview, I'm just going to write: Registered Nurse, State of Missouri: effective (date) & I'm going to make copies of my report to take with me. Hopefully all goes well. Wish me luck everyone! :)
