This is a bad situation. I know you were only trying to help. When I have people like that and they refuse the bedpan and other cares...always go by docters orders. If he tried to get out of bed on his own later and you were not there...well, then you are no way responsible. Just an important lesson learned early on in your career.

Being a CNA is okay....but I feel there is nothing else to learn about it. I get bored easlily.....

I don't think my credit is anyones business.. I would not allow a hospital to go that far into my life...

Wow, I am a CNA going to school and would never think to try something like that. Going to nursing school does not make you a nurse. I wonder what else they do when no one is looking.

I think anything under a year is bad and you probobly wouldn't be able to use them as a reference. It's better to stay at a job.

That is crazy. We don't even allow residents to come out and eat in their jammies. We also don't have any time restrictions as long as the job gets done. (But we breakfast is very casual and last for a few hours). I would love to see some of these people that makes these rules just do the job for one day and then see what happens.

Wow, why would a nurse have such a bad attitude. They are NURSES for goodness sakes, not like they are a CEO of a big company or something. Geez, guess since they are the "higher" one when it comes to CNA and nurse, it makes them feel good to think they are something. In what universe is being a nurse a big deal that they say "read my nametag", I just had to laugh at this one!
